It's Time To Plant Tulips for Next Spring!
Learn more at https://ngb.org/newtulips 5 Tips for Planting Tulips • Grow in loose, crumbly soil that is easy to work and very well-drained. The well-drained part is critical because soggy tulip bulbs rot easily. • Plant the tulips pointy side up 3-4″ apart and 6″ deep. To easily plant your tulips from a comfortable standing position, use the ProPlugger 5-IN-1 Planting Tool. It easily digs the perfect depth hole. • Different varieties of tulips bloom at different times in the spring. Look to extend your spring flowering season by planting tulips in many different flowering times. • Tulips bloom best in sunny locations. • Plant your bulbs later in the season, say in November, to avoid the squirrel and chipmunk hoarding season. Plant later, but be sure to order early for the best
