ABOUT ‘RAW FURNITURE’

My name is Rebecca Ann Wilmer and I am the owner of my established and growing 8 year old furniture painting business ‘Raw Furniture’. My workshop is based in the village of Ribchester, in Lancashire's Ribble Valley. I am an abstract and landscape artist with a bachelor of honours and masters degree in surface pattern and ceramics. My art background has certainly helped me to treat all my furniture as though it is my canvas. I paint furniture for interior design companies in the Ribble Valley and I have been trained to host ‘one-to-one’ and ‘group’ chalk paint workshops. I also host acrylic painting classes in my workshop. I am a member of an artisan furniture painting group called ‘Fur.nish uk’. ‘Fur.nish uk’ is an online furniture marketplace dedicated to bringing one-of-a-kind pieces guaranteed to make a statement in your home. All of the artisans on fur.nish are pre-screened and hand-picked for their attention to detail, quality and service.
