Genuinely makes me kind of mad that wider fandom (esp on ao3) is so man-focused. Why is the main female lead only in a third of the fics and relegated to the background when she is included. Why is it so easy to go through pages and pages of fics w/o a single female character tagged. Why are they flattened into wingwomen or massive bitches or mom friends. Why do people bend over backwards to excuse a male character's shitty actions and then make up shit about a female character to be mad at. Ppl just dont gaf about female characters & its so frustrating to see
