How to use this account
Everything posted here will be tagged with the character and media. You can narrow down search results for characters by using both the character tag and a tag for either the media, or "2d" or "3d," depending on what you're looking for. To search for multiple tags, search for one tag, then add the other after a comma. For example, searching for chao in Sonic Speed Simulator might look like this:
Alright, for some reason Tumblr lets you search for multiple tags across the whole site, but not on a specific blog. I have no idea. If you're having trouble with multi-tag searching, you can try searching all of Tumblr and making sure to also include #sonicreferencephotos. Also, commas aren't required:
Adding a "#" before the tag will include only the exact tag. As an example, searching for "sonic the hedgehog" will return posts with any hedgehog, because every post here is tagged "sonic reference," which contains "sonic." Searching "#sonic the hedgehog" will only show posts with that specific tag
Many Sonic characters have special outfits/skins. To make it easier to peruse the clothing selection, this account has the tag "#sonic fashion catalogue." Any non-standard character outfits will use this tag (masterpost). If you are looking for clothing for a specific character, you'll want to use "[Character name]'s wardrobe." for example, "#shadow's wardrobe," will show all of Shadow the Hedgehog's outfits currently posted. This can, of course, be combined with multi-tag searching
This account is run by a single person, so it takes time to collect images, especially for harder to find media. If you have references you would like to submit, you can do so with either the submissions page or the ask box. Please only submit official art/models. Beta designs are welcome, just add the tag "#beta designs"
