KNIGHTS ; the true empire of strength behind arkridge city
↳ the inner workings of the round table

The Round Table is an underworld criminal organisation and secret society created by the Clemonte family. The Table has existed since Arkridge City’s early founding years and is completely unknown among its general population outside of an urban legend centred around their reputation of grisly assassinations and political prowess. Each member of the Table is called a Knight. The Round Table has been crafting Arkridge’s elite playground for the rich and powerful for centuries and they pull the strings from within the shadows.

Behind the facade of everyday politics and colourful metropolitan life, the Round Table rules Arkridge City from behind perfect masks and gilded thrones — King Arthur spearheads the multigenerational grand scheme of puppeteering the city’s political and criminal world as its unspoken corrupt backbone that helped build arkridge into the megacity it is now.

The Clemontes are an extraordinarily influential family of philanthropists with a corporation that spearheads business, technology, weaponry, and chemicals. With unprecedented power and access to Arkridge City, the Clemontes started the secret organisation called The Round Table that blossomed from the early years of Arkridge City’s establishment. Throughout the years, they have embedded themselves in the megacity’s political and criminal world.

The Clemonte family’s multi-generational inheritance plays a significant role in passing down the family’s legacy, highlighting themes of power and ambition that drive the family. They operate under a cutthroat system where siblings often compete against each other to prove their worthiness, leading to betrayal and conflict.

The 39th generation of the Clemontes have shown drastically different personalities and they are persistent in maintaining the Clemonte family in society and in the limelight.

This city is completely detached and in its own league, a medley of modern and gothic architecture with a sense of otherworldly timelessness.
