This research aims to present a systematic literature review focusing on technology and artificia... more This research aims to present a systematic literature review focusing on technology and artificial intelligence (AI) as new vectors for multicultural and digital leadership. With 80% of companies using at least one emerging technology for finance and operations, 58% of firms increasing their spending in AI for workforce planning, and a big data market projected to be worth $77 billion before the end of 2023, multicultural and digital leaders (ML; DL) have to adapt and acknowledge, integrate, and leverage technology into their daily business management (FinancesOnline, 2023). The conference paper intends to introduce an up-to-date systematic literature review and a bibliographic investigation performed with VOSviewer software, focusing on technology and AI as new vectors of multicultural and digital leadership. Mining into the Web of Science Core Collection database, our research creates an evident visual representation of the interconnectedness between technology, AI, ML, and DL. As the global business landscape increasingly values digital leadership, this bibliometric analysis offers valuable tools for multicultural and digital business leaders as well as academic researchers to comprehend, shape, and leverage the dynamics of these evolving domains.

Cultural intelligence (CQ) and emotional intelligence (EQ) represent key competencies of multicul... more Cultural intelligence (CQ) and emotional intelligence (EQ) represent key competencies of multicultural leadership in the new normal global business environment. This paper aims to present a comparative quantitative study concerning emotional and cultural intelligences in USA and Romania, backed by a brief geo-linked bibliometric literature review. The bibliometric analysis is performed with VOSviewer for the works focusing on these two variables published in USA and, respectively, in Romania. Inspired by the findings of this comparative analysis, it is performed a quantitative research based on 604 questionnaires distributed to managers in USA and in Romania, and on statistical processing using SPSS software. The statistical results show that both CQ and EQ constitute significant vectors in developing multicultural leadership and organizational performance in a multicultural business environment for both USA and Romania. The comparative study reveals a higher level of CQ and EQ in the Romanian business environment than in USA. The difference could be explained by the focus on rationality and profit maximization in the American business education. The contribution of the paper comes from these findings and they can help researchers and practitioners to stimulate their efforts in improving CQ and EQ competences.

In this context, in which racially and ethnically diverse companies are 35% more likely to perform better, inclusive leadership's role becomes crucial. Knowing to handle and fructify diversity and inclusion (DI) is now crucial for any multicultural businesses' expansion and development. On the other hand, cultural intelligence (CQ) refers to relating and working effectively and efficiently in culturally diverse situations. The purpose of this paper is to study and present a systematic bibliometric literature review focusing on cultural intelligence as a core enabler of inclusive leadership (IL). Our findings, rooted in the Web of Science Core Collection database and powered by VOSviewer bibliometric software, demonstrate that cultural intelligence is not only a main competence for both multinational leadership and global management but also a primary facilitator of inclusive leadership. Concretely, this research visually indicates a comprehensive direct link of the fields relating to CQ on one side and the ones related to multicultural and inclusive leadership on the other side. The Impact of Cultural Intelligence on Multinational Leadership: A Semantic Review

Never before the need to function efficiently in multicultural contexts has been more apparent th... more Never before the need to function efficiently in multicultural contexts has been more apparent than today as, in our global and interconnected world, cultural intelligence (CQ) has become the central pillar of efficient leadership. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to critically analyze the specific literature on cultural intelligence and its modeling role for performant leadership and to identify gaps or inconsistencies of research employing this concept to contribute to its revamping. Based on a systematic review, we have structured this article into four directions of conceptual clarification, which could improve the current notions and applicability of CQ. The first two sections investigate and present the existing conflicting definitions and models of culture and cultural intelligence and move towards the common ground in our new challenging economic context. The third direction particularly questions the validity of the actual cultural intelligence scales and will try to point the need to develop new adapted measuring tools. The last one focuses on the limitations and new influencing factors of the link between cultural intelligence and efficient leadership, considering that globalization, the digital revolution, immigration, circular economy, or artificial intelligence are shaping a new operating business model. Our conceptual research is based on a systematic approach to literature and a critical analysis of the main concepts and ideas dealing with cultural intelligence. The findings, regrouped around inconsistencies, show that the new economic reality might impact the existing academic theories regarding the link between cultural intelligence and multinational leadership. The research limits are bordered by emotional intelligence (EQ), an individual parameter, and main leadership success factors. However, our present work will develop an understanding of the cultural intelligence impact on multinational leadership and opens the gate for future research questions and challenges arising from this study's findings.

According to Harvard Business Review, companies with higher diversity experienced 19% higher reve... more According to Harvard Business Review, companies with higher diversity experienced 19% higher revenues, but in the meantime, 57% of employees feel their businesses must assiduously concentrate on diversity and inclusion plans. This article aims to present a bibliometric study of diversity and inclusion (DI) in the COVID years 2019-2022. Our analysis was based on the Scopus database, while the bibliometric research was performed via VOSviewer: version 1.6.17, one of the most utilized academic software tools for constructing and visualizing bibliometric networks. In conclusion, our research questions are answered, underlining that, during the last 4 COVID years 2019-2022 the DI phenomenon was a main vector of multinational leadership (ML) and that physical/mental abilities, race and ethnicity, and educational background are the new main drivers of DI. The value of these findings resides in the agile repositioning of the DI role within multinational leadership and can serve as a reference and guidance both for business professionals and researchers.

In these circumstances, the purpose of this paper is to bring up a bibliometric analysis focusing on cultural intelligence (CQ) and multicultural leadership (ML). The study, performed with Nvivo and VOSviewer, and rooted in the Web of Science Core Collection database, visually presents a direct and explicit link between CQ and ML, opening the door to further analysis that will enhance the impact of cultural intelligence not only on multinational leadership but also on the profitability of the companies. This study can provide global leaders, cross-disciplinary researchers and students with the appropriate tools in order to understand the size, the impact and the relations of cultural intelligence and multicultural leadership.

Also, the analysis includes for the first time the topic of entropic knowledge dynamics as reflected in papers indexed in Web of Science.

Our analysis was based on the Scopus database, while the bibliometric research was performed via VOSviewer: version 1.6.17, one of the most utilized academic software tools for constructing and visualizing bibliometric networks. In conclusion, our research questions are answered, underlining that, during the last 4 COVID years 2019-2022 the DI phenomenon was a main vector of multinational leadership (ML) and that physical/mental abilities, race and ethnicity, and educational background are the new main drivers of DI. The value of these findings resides in the agile repositioning of the DI role within multinational leadership and can serve as a reference and guidance both for business professionals and researchers.

In these circumstances, the purpose of this paper is to bring up a bibliometric analysis focusing on cultural intelligence (CQ) and multicultural leadership (ML). The study, performed with Nvivo and VOSviewer, and rooted in the Web of Science Core Collection database, visually presents a direct and explicit link between CQ and ML, opening the door to further analysis that will enhance the impact of cultural intelligence not only on multinational leadership but also on the profitability of the companies. This study can provide global leaders, cross-disciplinary researchers and students with the appropriate tools in order to understand the size, the impact and the relations of cultural intelligence and multicultural leadership.

The contribution of the paper comes from the fact that it is a first bibliometric analysis of the correlations between knowledge dynamics and managerial decision making as reflected in papers indexed in Web of Science. Also, the analysis includes for the first time the topic of entropic knowledge dynamics as reflected in papers indexed in Web of Science.

With 80% of companies using at least one emerging technology for finance and operations, 58% of firms increasing their spending in AI for workforce planning, and a big data market projected to be worth $77 billion before the end of 2023, multicultural and digital leaders (ML; DL) have to adapt and acknowledge, integrate, and leverage technology into their daily business management (FinancesOnline, 2023). The conference paper intends to introduce an up-to-date systematic literature review and a bibliographic investigation performed with VOSviewer software, focusing on technology and AI as new vectors of multicultural and digital leadership.
