My First fill for the @cap-ironman Bingo 2018 for the square ‘Cuddling’
After we found out this week in Ults book club that Ults!Tony is a confirmed cuddler, I couldn’t not have my cuddle square be Ults. And besides, it’s my birthday, so I get to indulge in my favourite verse with no guilt.
I was thinking about 3x03 and how Steve got saved by Tony and Nat in that episode, how his friendships in the present were with him even tho that drug Zemo gave him was supposed to make him think and feel it was the 40s? But there he is, thinking how Tony is rubbing off on him and berating himself a little for it. Like yes it was Nat and Tony’s quick thinking and acting that saved Steve, but also, internally,Steve’s willingness to live in the present and his adopted family of Avengers being at the forefront of his mind was also a big part of the save? So when Tony said at the end that Steve will always have friends it meant so much, it’s such a perfect ending to that episode, and I think I only now realized why lol.
