Lori Harvey has had her fair share of fashion moments, so for Fashion Flashback, we asked the model and entrepreneur to go through some photos of her archival looks and explain some things, like how hard it can be to walk on the Cannes Film Festival.

“So this is the thing about the Cannes Film Festival. It’s so much fun, but that red carpet is so hard because, depending on what time of day it is, if the sun is right here [gestures to her forehead] the lighting is so harsh, and so your pictures can either come out really, really amazing, or really, really horrible,” she explained. The more you know! “But this was also really fun because I felt like a Disney princess in this dress,” she said of the canary-colored gown.
On reflecting on an abs-exposing Laquan Smith dress at another Cannes Film Festival event, Lori had some reservations. “I need the stomach out, and I was like, ‘Ok, I wish you’d told me beforehand because I think I’d just come back from vacation and I was living my best life,” she joked. I would’ve done a couple more crunches, but it’s fine.”
The one look she fought her stylist on was an electric blue bodysuit with tights ensemble at New York Fashion Week. “I feel like this was also a look I kinda fought him [stylist Elly Karamoh] on a little bit, because I was like, ‘No pants?’ … but it ended up being super cute.”
