  • Information for anyone who wants to make a donation in support of Ukraine:

These are the main platforms that most Ukrainians (myself included) regularly use to donate to support our armed forces. Ukraine needs military aid, because only through victory we can achieve peace. Russia’s only goal is to destroy us. If Russia is not defeated, there will be no future for Ukraine.

These funds buy vehicles for the evacuation of the wounded, thermal imagers, body armor and everything else our defenders need to survive.

Why you should NOT donate to the Red Cross

Any help, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you ❤️

In the past, I both read The Handmaid's Tale novel and watched the TV show. While I enjoyed it, I had just one nitpick - it was hard for me to suspend my disbelief that:

    1. It was happening in the US
    2. It happened so quickly

It read a liiittle bit like an author's personal prejudice against the US. (Margaret Atwood is Canadian)

I no longer have to suspend any disbelief - because there is none.
Now I fully expect just about anything.

Anyway, in another peaceful move of the peaceful negotiation for peace, russia hit my hometown in the broad daylight, injuring 100 ppl, including 23 children, at least 1 of which is in a highly critical condition.

Specifically, the strike targeted a residential area between two critical military locations - a school and a kindergarten. Sure hope my cousins in russia can sleep tight tonight knowing that those dangerous 5-year-olds have been dealt with.
