I’ve been really focusing on getting an efficient painting method, and being more comfortable with realisitic lighting. My second goals are : mastering shape design, and overall finally being good with cityscapes/perspective/buildings which I have been avoiding for way too long ! Those are sometimes quick warmups sometimes 4 hours long, and Im learning a lot :) If you want to improve I really recommend getting into studies more with a clear goal in mind. I have been doing these along with my friends @lucocurtis & Edwige, who want to push their skills further as well !
Some style exploration for MOONLIT BAMBOO FOREST made at Passion Pictures with Director David Pagaille for GENSHIN IMPACT. The mission was to figure out a painting style that would include a influence of traditionnal Chinese ink paintings. I tried different approaches, to very derivative of that to a more realisitic version. The final style was quite in between, Im really happy with all those little researches
Today was election day, and against all odds, my country didn’t fall for far right ! i was so tensed and stressed for 3 weeks, and now I can breathe again.
