Today is the anniversary of “Lost and Found,” which is the day Rapunzel gave Eugene a birthday!
Though he found out his real birthday in “Cassandra’s Revenge,” this will always be his second birthday.
I don’t think they’re ever going to stop happening for all time and eternity. Disney has been remaking its own movies since… I want to say the 90s, when they remade The Parent Trap, and in the 90s, they also made a live action 101 Dalmatians (which, though I have no desire to watch it anymore, I greatly enjoyed as a kid, due in no small part to Glen Close’s performance as Cruella).
As long as the Disney corporation exists, they will, at some point, continue making live action remakes.
However, for the current iteration of them, if Lilo & Stitch and Moana both fail, they may call it quits for now.
I shall not, will not, tire of seeing people cheer over the live action Tangled being put on pause. 😎

@tangledbea legitimate question, what are your thoughts on a Broadway version of the movie?*
*on the condition they can do Max and Pascal properly.
Because I love the original movie and totally agree that a live action version is unnecessary. And I honestly didn’t know about the series until I joined tumblr, so I’m not immersed in the fandom to know if there’s a consensus.
I am 100000000% in for a Broadway musical. The puppet/costume they use for Max on the Disney cruise would be great! 10/10 no notes. And, frankly, they would likely get rid of Pascal in a stage version. I have never seen any stage version of the movie (at a Disney park or on the cruise ship) that included him. The fact of the matter is, he’s not necessary for the plot, and can easily be removed without losing anything in the story.
Generally speaking, we’re here for a Broadway musical (which, by the way, they are working on).

ALHAMDULILLAH THE WORLD IS HEALING!!! THEY WONT BE MAKING AN AWFUL LIVE ACTUON OF MY FAVOURITE DISNEY MOVIE!!!
“On hold” does not mean “cancelled.” God, I HOPE it gets cancelled, but this is Disney. If Lilo & Stitch and Moana do well, Tangled may proceed as planned.
By any chance do you know which of your posts has the MOST tags? You’re so thorough with how you tag.
Probably a screencap from the end of the series, when I tagged, like, literally everyone in it. lol
YES, YES, THEY’RE LEARNING!
THEY’RE FINALLY LEARNING!
THEY’RE FINALLY GOING TO STOP SHOVELING CRAP DOWN OUR THROATS UNRELENTINGLY!
GOOD!

Giving you the og TtS gang before shoving my ocs in ur face🙏 these all made me cackle so hard like I’m not the guy who drew them💀 hope tumblr likes this as much as insta did teehee
In the movie and series, did some of those parts make you laugh when everytime Eugene gets injured or freak out? In pascal's dragon wasn't funny to you when Eugene gets hurt? https://youtu.be/8z-lKDHVp5Y?si=sceylPk0apE_oi1G
I can’t say that every one of these makes me laugh every time. Honestly, I have to be in the mood for slapstick for it to make me laugh. Poor Eugene was super comedicly abused all through the movie and series. And yes, sometimes it’s very funny to me. But other times, I just shake my head and say, “Poor guy…”
Frankly, I find it all the funnier when he gets out of it unscathed without a slapstick reaction. Then it’s not even cartoon damage, it’s just cartoon panic (like when Max catches up to him in the movie).
Also, not to nitpick, but I wouldn’t call a lot of these “irreversible damage.” XD

For reasons I’m not yet gonna get into, I had to put Tiny!Eugene in a 1920s Mobster outfit. All of these are correct, by the way. The big fur coat is staying in every iteration.
