london calling

Danielle Walker has lived in Queens her entire life and she's sick of it. The City that was filled with mostly bad memories. The City that never did her any favours. A spontaneous move from one side of the world to the other seemed like a good idea, but when she accidentally steps in on what looks to be a sacrificial ritual, she can only question whether going back is an option. The world she knew is so much bigger than she could possibly have imagined, but it's a world she wants no part in. Vampires, Witches, Werewolves? Those were stuff of Myth. They didn't belong here. Maybe it was her that didn't belong in the world... Or maybe none of it was real and she had finally gone crazy. Yeah, that was probably it.

sleepless

The US Goverment was corrupt, a sentence that seemed to be a given, however if uttered you might assume to be more of a conspiracy than it was. When that same government came up with an idea to supposedly lower stress and anxiety of the entire population, by introducing a chip to the public, a chip that would be implanted into their heads, more people should have been suspicious. However it was only a handful of people who raised a brow at this 'good deed'. This chip was supposed to aid in the sleeping habits of all US citizens, by powering down their brain from 10pm - 6am. That gave the government eight hours to do god knows what -- that was the thought of one Alex Jones at least. Hence why he found a way to hack into the list of people who had the chip and insert his name there. That action alone was a domino effect however, since his best friend also had to be put on the list, as did her boyfriend, and his sister, and her best friend, and so on. But when the kids discover the real reason the government wants everyone asleep, and the government discovers they're not, it leads to an impossible situation. A News reel ran on every television in the country, notifying the kids that until they turned themselves in, their family and friends would never wake up. Torn between self preservation and the people they love, what will they do?
