I tried to select 2 tracks with a similar feel, then created a sampler patch to mix between the two. Recorded a few takes mixing the 2 tracks and then added some dubby bass and semi-random sine wave patterns. Mixed for oomph.

My process:
The recorded guitar closely follows the tone and pacing of my weather map , the additional instruments reinforce the stifling heat midway through the day.
