one thing ive sort of disliked about being like yeah im nonbinary and they/they pronouns is how it always leads people to be like oh genderless / not a woman / gender neutral when like for me its so much more complicated than no gender and i treat it as an umbrella term so I don’t have to break my teeth trying to explain a difficult to explain thing
you guys need to start being more careful with what you say in regards to the palestinian cause. some of you are over excited white people with some weird saviour complex and you’re speaking over palestinians and using the wrong language and it makes the media demonize us further.
palestinians are not aggressive and we’re not blood thirsty people. we want to live and that is simply it. we want a life for ourselves and for our children and for our friends and for our beloveds. we want a life in the homeland we’re indigenous to. that is it. stop twisting it into your fucked up little fantasy
still absolutely cannot wrap my head around how ppl are not condemning the iof and calling for a permanent ceasefire even after the news broke out about hind. she was six years old. trapped inside a bombed car where five of her relatives are martyred. iof tanks laid siege on a six year old girl calling her mom for help. because she was scared and alone and starving. iof waited until the paramedics came to save hind and killed them all. remember hind. remember yousef. remember ahmed. death to israel. ceasefire now.
if you are unable to donate financially to help palestine, you can donate your time by protesting, boycotting, and putting up posters!
if all you have is your device and internet access, you can put your clicks to good use on arab.org. they use the advertising revenue generated by your clicks to help good causes.
and i would urge those able to spare a few dollars to donate to one or more of the following organizations:
Institute for Middle East Understanding
Palestine Children Relief Fund
Palestinian American Medical Association
Good morning. This might be my last message from the city of Rafah. The occupation [Israel] is carrying out crazy fire. Violent belts. As you’re hearing, there are helicopters. Planes and gunfire from the vehicles. There’s a complete invasion of the city.
We don’t know what is going on in Rafah. The place that the occupation [Israel] claimed to be safe. This is happening all of a sudden; the people didn’t go out. They didn’t do anything. More than thirty targets were hit in just minutes. People were asleep. We woke up to the bombing, to the shooting from the helicopters. It was horrifying. Unacceptable.
This might be my last message. Please relay it to the world.

Rafah was Palestinians’ very last safe zone. There is quite literally nowhere else left to go. And now it’s being bombed with airstrike after airstrike.
What’s funny is I was gonna be like “well the Super Bowl is obviously a distraction! It’s not a coincidence that Israel invaded Rafah on the same day all eyes were on the Super Bowl!” then I remembered that the western world doesn’t care to begin with and Israel has been genociding Palestinians with no remorse for months now. To claim that they do it while the world is distracted is also to imply that the world would care if weren’t, which it doesn’t. The truth is Israel is now targeting Rafah because Israel knows the US won’t be doing shit to stop them either way. It really is such a depraved world.
The scenes coming out of Rafah are nothing short of horrific.
This is Israel relishing in its impunity. Israel knows that no matter the level of atrocities it commits, it will never be challenged or held accountable by those in power.
Your role still matters though. Keep advocating for Palestine, amplify Palestinian voices, find a protest near you - whatever you do, make your stance known.
