Distantly, he realized a few of his bandages had come loose as they fluttered in the air current, but he paid no mind to fixing them. The sunset was far too hypnotizing. But as it sank away beneath the horizon, he felt a distant pang in his chest that tightened with an unknown emotion. It was nostalgic, in a way, but effervescent, just beyond his reach of understanding. He tore his gaze away, the dull sensation fading as he watched Lucy make it up the final rung."

If this was anyone else other than you, I'd think this was asked on purpose just to mock me. But since it's yooooou (Hiiii! Star!), I know you're not aware of this like @phoenix-before-the-flame will never let me forget. But apparently there is a word/phrase that I use a lot in writing.

These many things man, they just be happening too often, all at once one might say....
