perhaps ill put it on the possibility list, but I defo have a LOT of ideas for the couple. mostly things revolving hoshi settling into royal life but I have so many scenes planned out in my head 🫠 theres so much potential with their dynamics its so hard to not think about them later in life LMAO

im gonna be very honest anon and idk how you're gonna take it but I will still give u my two cents heh:
Tumblr isn't a follower based platform, at least to me? it's the kind of thing where a popular writer might not have as many followers and posts less frequently but their fics might do really good numbers, whereas another popular writer has a lot of followers in the thousands but they're also posting fics a lot more frequently, and their fics may or may not rack as many numbers individually. these are just two examples of a lot more contexts obviously not every blog is like this, but this is just to help put things into perspective that followers do not automatically equate to popularity
I don't really talk about followers on my blog on purpose bc this isn't a platform that strives on it, followers are hidden here for a reason, and I truly don't think it's that reflective, but that's also just my opinion.
this is my personal experience, but when I was a reader my identification for a popular writer was either if I saw them a lot in the tags or I read something(s) of theirs that really stuck with me. i hardly used to look at the numbers on a fic before reblogging them bc I just liked the writing, or if they were writing for a member that I particularly liked. my advice would honestly be to take it one fic at a time, whether you want to write shorter or longer fics, I think consistency does wonders for most algorithms and it should for you too!

pirate Hoshi was honestly such a labour of love I want to go back to it so bad 🫠 I had so many ideas I couldn't possibly fit into the fic that I left for a possible sequel and ive been drifting back to the chats recently to look at what could've been 😔 I also know if I end up writing its gonna be like another 20k bc I have so much love for those characters and their story but idk if people are gonna want it that bad LMAO

I know ive been trying to move past the shitshow that's played out on this blog in the last month but ive honestly grown to dread every time I see a notification in my inbox. there's some really nice ones in there but theres also enough not very nice ones too, and I hate that something that used to get me so excited has me reciting prayers as I open it.
