if anyone's looking for a new byler playlist to check out, here's the one i've been working on (and listening to nonstop lmao). it's mainly 80s indie/rock/pop and modern indie. i'll probably continue adding to it as well ♡︎
No but what if they are in a fight but like Nancy and Jonathan in season 1 where they are in an isolated place and sort of bickering about what happened and then they have to stay in silence or hide somewhere and end up face to face and super close and they show the tension between them like this and Will stops before Mike and then they focus on Mike's expression being all half scared and confused because he just realized he wanted to kiss Will so badly and Will is all like "let's get back to business this is nothing new for me" 🤭
Bonus points if they have to hide in a closet 🤭
they had the opportunity last season but decided to send El there 😭
I don't understand mlvns who call Will a homewrecker. First of all, never talk to me or my son ever again. Second of all, that is his house. He can't wreck his own house, are you kidding? He and Mike built that house together ten years ago. He laid those floorboards with his own two hands. They share the taxes. They are actively adding new tchotchkes to the mantel. They have a pretty little live edge wood fruit bowl on the dining table. I mean seriously. How could Will possibly be a homewrecker when he sleeps in the master bedroom of Mike's heart?
THANK YOU like don't pmo. WILL WAS THERE FIRST. he said yes on the swings. they've always been tied at the hip. will and mike, mike and will. then he goes through the most traumatic event of his life, and when he comes back things aren't quite the same between them bc el is suddenly in the picture and has taken his spot next to mike. imagine how he must have felt 😭 my baby
thank you charlie heaton for being joe’s muse apparently
stonathan is real and joe is the biggest shipper
Mike basically haunts the narrative in seasons 3&4 even though he's right the fuck there. He is in so many of the most important scenes and conversations, but his presence is undermind and discarded because we can't see from his perspective anymore. For someone with such a loud personality and previously main role, he's mostly faded into the background. Even with his large screen time in season 4, he's a ghost. (cough max parallels cough possessiongate cough)
His actions have such a big impact on the characters and the story. He fucking warps everything, yet he remains hidden. He's hiding himself from others, therefore the narrative itself hides him as well.
Mike Wheeler, the fucking legend you are. Can't wait to have our Dungeon Master back next season and more suicidal than ever, let's fucking go!
