Hi, I really wanted to download your mod "cas pose override". For Sims 3, but I found that the link to it has been deleted. It made me suffer. I would like to know what happened and if it is still possible to download this mod?

Hi! I’ve removed all of my downloads from Tumblr and will also be removing everything from MTS. Going forward, all of my work will only be hosted on Patreon. The reason for this is that while many people download from me, very few actually show support by hearting or reblogging—which was all I ever asked, just so I could understand what people enjoy, so others like yourself could find my work and so I know what the community wants to see more of. I now choose to share my work only with those who genuinely support and appreciate it on Patreon. Hope this helps!

So I was wondering, I know you use cc magic for your cc but can I ask how you have your actual mods set up? I have my own system, but I'm always looking to improve it.

Also answering this late, hope you're still around SORRY!

First I merge this:

  • DR (Objects, UI, Music, Skin, Sounds, etc) - in their respective folders.
  • Food (Food mods, and custom Recipes)
  • Scripts - I break these down by EP in a folder
  • Scripted Objects
  • XML's and Ituns (Anything not a script) - I also break these down by EP in a folder
  • NSFW - Passion mod, all NSFW mods, and body replacer
  • Music
  • Store - Store mods and objects

I merge DR, Food ad XML's = MODA.

I merge Scripts and Script Objects = MODB.

I then merge NSFW and Music = MODC.

This leaves only these package files in my Mods folder:

  • MODA
  • MODB
  • MODC
  • Store

The sims 3 doesn't care how big the package file is, it only cares how many files it has to read. So you can get over 100 mods in as little as 4 packages or less if you merge it differently from me.

Sorry for the wait but I hope this helps!

Hey first of all I wanna say thank you for all the help you provided the sims 3 community with <3. I love how thorough your videos are and how you test!!!! I was just curious about something, do you still prefer the get out mod over the ld population mod? I'm so conflicted, while what you said is true, I feel like the fact that ld's only impacts performance if you zoom in a lot it would make it run better, I'm doing my tests and it feels better, but like you said parties etc don't work, idk lol

So, the main issues I noticed with the Lot Population mod are:

  1. Overused Sim Pool – The same Sims get teleported between lots too frequently. If one of my actives is on a lot, and another active is on another lot, an inactive I saw on one lot might suddenly disappear and be teleported to the lot my other active sim is on. This really broke immersion, especially when I was using that Sim for storytelling. I’d have to pretend they were never there to begin with, which was frustrating.
  2. Prop Glitches – If a Sim was using a prop when teleported, two things could happen:
  • The prop would teleport with them, breaking the interaction.
  • The prop would stay in place, floating mid-air. This led to weird objects appearing around the world—like the Olomaya kettlebell showing up at the jazz club or a street performer’s keyboard getting stuck in front of a bakery door, causing routing failures.
  1. Sims Never Being Home – This affected both regular visits and parties. I enjoy dropping in on my Sims’ friends and family when they’re home, which is an important part of my roleplay. But with this mod, that was no longer possible. Guests at my parties would also randomly disappear unless I stayed on the lot the entire time.
  2. Increased Stuttering – The most significant issue was performance. After installing the mod, I experienced way more stuttering than usual, before installing the mod I barely had any stutter after installing the mod it became really noticeable.

In contrast, the Get Out mod, which combines XML edits with Arsil’s Leaving Home script, worked better for me. It simply encouraged more Sims to leave their homes naturally instead of forcing all of them out. There were no stutters. No large script heap or bloat. No prop glitches. Sims would still be home. It didn't break parties.

Eventually, I tweaked Arsil’s Leaving Home mod for personal use. As I got more comfortable with XML modding, I started modifying existing mods, combining them, or creating my own from scratch. I actually had to do this because some other XML mods in my setup conflicted with the Get Out bundle.

So, while I no longer use the Get Out project mods, I’d still recommend them over the Lot Population mod. But if you’re comfortable with XML editing, consider tweaking the Arsil Leaving Home package yourself—it gave me much better results in my mod build.

Sorry for the long response, but I wanted to explain everything thoroughly! Hope this helps!

hi. i've been planning to download both nraas and simler mod to the sims 3. i saw your review of the latter and wanted to ask if the gameplay is better with both. if it is, are there any update on settings? if yes, may i please ask for the update settings? if there is no difference with having both, which one would you recommend? thank you so much!!

simler90 and nraas mods suite make huge differences in the game, and idk which nraas mod you are referring. I uploaded my settings on my youtube channel, but you'd need to read through the mods descriptions to determine what you want to download and what kind of conflicts could happen, certain nraas mods are incompatible with simler90 because simler90 already has its own fix or checks for that function of the game.

I would not recommend to just download and go because that's how you get crashes and you won't understand how to fix them or which mods to remove. Before you go looking for my settings I highly recommend reading the mods you download first.
