Working on the train encounter some more for today's Nightmare Kart dev post!
On top of fighting kart enemies, I also wanted to add rifle skeletons on the train cars which will try to snipe the player from afar. Their implementation is not finished and there's temp effects in place, but it already adds a lot and feels like a distinct encounter compared to the enemy karts!

Not sure if you’ve talked about this before but what’s your process for animating 3D characters? Also do you have any tips for learning to animate in 3D?
i dont really have a special trick or anything, outside of 'ive been doing this for 18 years'
just keep at it. your work will be stiff and awkward at the start but knowing that it'll get better over time will keep you going!
