the sheer amount of diasporic south asian families that get completely torn apart over the inheritance of rural agricultural land back in the subcontinent that nobody in the family has lived on for generations and exists solely for the collecting of rent money that amounts to pennies in western currencies but is a very real and considerable amount in local currency for rural people in poverty. and people will implode their entire families over who gets to sell or own that land they rule as absentee landlords like princes quarreling over a throne from their houses in the west with zero self awareness or shame as though it isn't completely evil to own land like that at all making an income off of poverty and even more heinous to do so in a place you don't live. it doesn't matter if everyone's all the same ethnicity and if your great grandparents lived there once upon a time it's still wrong and shouldn't be happening. head in my fucking hands

First time I did some touchups on an old figure and I can say that it looks way better now

What I fixed: piercing, strange mark in mouth, random splotches on his face, teeth in general, eyebrows beard and hair paint job in general. Plus I fixed his boots because the paint in those too was damaged.

This is the first time I’ve done minimal touchups too. Just wanted him to be in a perfect condition because I didn’t pay for him so much to just look like I found it in my cousin’s sandpit.

He’s a rare figure so I wanted him to look like it too

Being insane but cognitively aware of how insane you are is a special kind of hell because you know that you aren't normal and you can pinpoint the behaviors that label you as other and make people kinda go quiet and twitchy around you but you can't change them or your neurosis so you're stuck in a brutal cycle of trying to emulate normal people and failing horribly cus you know in theory how normal people look and act but in practice you can never change what you are and everyone else knows it too and this goes on forever until you die
