Hello everyone, by now you've probably seen me sharing Bisan's campaign many times on my blog. I wanted to make an official post of my own highlighting her fundraiser.

Bisan reached out to me a few months ago, and we have become good friends. She is a very kind and caring person, even checking in on me when I have been unwell while she is in the middle of a genocide.

Bisan needs to raise £16,000 for her and her family, to cover the extremely high costs of food, medicine, and winter supplies. Bisan was able to get a new tent for her family, but with the cold of winter upon them, it does very little to keep them warm at night. Food and medicine are catastrophically expensive, and there is never enough to find or go around. Bisan has been trying to find flour for days to no avail, and she cannot find all of the medicine that her Father needs. Bisan herself has gotten sick multiple times over the past few months.

There is also the constant threat of bombings and gunfire around them at all times from the IDF. Bisan tells me that the shooting never stops, and it makes me worry for the safety of her and her family. Every day I message Bisan, to make sure her and her family are still okay. I worry constantly for my friend and her loved ones, but despite the horrific situation Bisan is in, she is an extremely kind and compassionate person with endless love in her heart for those around her.

So, if you have any money to spare, please consider donating it to Bisan's fundraiser. I understand money is very tight for a lot of us, and there are many campaigns that need our attention. But even the smallest donations will add up if enough people keep donating, so please do what you can. Donate whatever you're able to, share this to your blog, to your friends/family, to your other social media, anything you can do will help greatly. Please do not ignore my friend.

Bisan's campaign has been slowing down a lot recently, with barely any donations in DAYS. So far we have gotten her campaign to £13,819 / £16,000 which is amazing, and we are slowly nearing £14,000. I know we can make it to this number.

So, as an added encentive, for every $5 or more you donate to Bisan's campaign (with proof of donation), I will draw you something, with higher donations getting better quality work. I know I haven't posted any of my art in ages, it honestly hasn't felt right to post my own art with everything going on, but if you want an extra bonus for helping my friend then I will draw you something for donating. But even if you can only donate $1, it will still go a long way, so please do not hesitate to donate if that's all you can give. And please give more if you're in a position to do so! $5 is just the minimum amount to get a drawing, but PLEASE give more if you're able!

guys this is so crazy to me i feel like we're regressing if we, despite the history of this country droning and bombing civilians and covering it up to, are still led to believe at face value that the people killed were "justified targets this time around!" And now that trump is in charge well the guy and his fascist crew certainly believe who theyre bombing are all guilty, right?

In 2009, the Obama administration conducted "the first known U.S. cruise missile strike in southern Yemen . . . That strike, which killed 14 alleged "militants," also killed at least 41 civilians, including 21 children and nine women, five of whom were pregnant at the time."

The Obama administration would continue to claim that their drone strikes were "exceptionally surgical and precise" and "do not put… innocent men, women and children in danger" but we know then and now there was mass civilian casualties.

In 2013, the administration launched four Hellfire missiles in a counterterrorism operation in Yemen. The Obama administration claimed all killed were militants and terrorists, witnesses said the administration killed a wedding procession

We know that the Obama administration would define militant as any "military aged male" to drastically lower the "non-combatant" death

Biden continued this policy. In 2021 there was footage showing a drone strike killing civilians, seven of the ten those killed children. In fact civilian deaths are so rampant that this "mistake" continues to happen. In Syria, the biden admin claimed to kill an al-Qaeda leader then find out they killed a father of ten children

Now, with the lack of accountability, may we ask why the hell we should believe that this airstrike the TRUMP administration sent killed only the "bad guys". He killed civilians in Yemen before

Whats even more just disappointing is that people not only believing at face value what the administration will say who they target, but the complete pivot from "progressive" people being against droning to just not caring. I was in class this semester and my professor thought it would be a fun learning exercise to ask the class how many civilian deaths would they be alright with if it killed so and so top dictators and people kept their hand up for 100+ civilians. I had to disrupt that shit and say "so would any of you would have raised your hand if it was you and your family at risk of being killed because canada claimed they needed to bomb your town to eliminate a terrorist group and they cant help but kill civilians because its just war?" and surprise i was met with silence.

Can we bring back being against droning? can we make that a mainstream belief again wth.

She was injured and had to have a metal plate implanted in her hand, and we are still struggling to get her the treatment she needs.

The killing of children in Gaza is a heartbreaking tragedy that the world cannot ignore. Innocent lives are being lost every day due to relentless bombings and attacks. These children had dreams, hopes, and futures that were stolen from them in an instant. As a weak and oppressed woman in Gaza, I have no money and struggle to survive. I beg for your help to support my baby, Qais, who is not yet two years old. Any donation can save his life.

This crisis is alarming for several reasons:

The international community must do more to stop this catastrophe. Immediate action is needed to end the violence, provide urgent humanitarian aid, and protect innocent lives. Ive been to this art installation when it was in Seattle it was made by an indigenous artist if I remember correctly it has small patches of astroturf in front of a black and white American flag with a sign that invites people “kneel and join in the screams of the American national anthem”

Okay so my roommate has now threatened multiple times to stop paying rent and tell the landlord there's people living here who aren't on the lease as well as several other behaviours that have made her increasingly impossible to live with she's the only one who's actually on the lease and I think it's time for me to gtfo.
