The Occupation has systematically destroyed every social infrastructure that makes civil society possible, whether it be healthcare, food systems, or education. They've targeted schools, hospitals, businesses, and every person who supports their community through their profession.

Rana and Ahmed (@ranafam2) are educators from Khan Younis, with Rana as a statistics professor at the Islamic University of Gaza and Ahmed as the principal of his school: both institutions have now been destroyed.

Palestinians have survived occupation for well over a century now, and they will remain steadfast, but they need your support.

Even with the ceasefire, resources are still limited and expensive. The weekly allowance for basic provisions like baby formula and flour is about $1000. Rana is also anticipating additional costs for baby formula, clothes, and natal care as she's eight months pregnant and expecting soon.

Finally with the ceasefire, Rana is hoping to evacuate with her family altogether. The cost of evacuation per person ranges from $5000 to $7000. If Rana gives birth before she can evacuate, that puts the total anticipated cost at $49,000 (5 children, 2 adults).

As of today (1/23), we are at:

$8185/$100,000

$0/$1500 <- Weekly provisions

$0/$2400 <- Daily goal to reach $49,000 in three weeks

Donate here.

I know these are overwhelming numbers, but if every person who shared this post donated $5, we can get them to safety.

My friend, I tried hard to summarize what happened to me during the entire period of war through this video.

My husband's educational centers were completely destroyed, leaving us with nothing๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Please sympathize with me and my family ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” and help me by donating to my family. Any donation, even if it is small, will help my family and my children.

The Occupation has systematically destroyed every social infrastructure that makes civil society possible, whether it be healthcare, food systems, or education. In an attempt at genocide, they've targeted schools, hospitals, businesses, and every person who supports their community through their profession.

Rana and Ahmed (@ranafam2) are educators from Khan Yunis (Northern Gaza Strip), with Rana as a statistics professor at the Islamic University of Gaza and Ahmed as the principal of his school: both institutions have now been destroyed.

Palestinians have survived occupation for well over a century now, and they will remain steadfast, but they need your support.

In my conversation with Rana, she told me:

"Providing food and drink for my children right now is impossible. A bag of flour costs 1000 shekels ($272) and milk, for my little girl, is 100 shekels ($28). This is the least of what we need.

As for the tent, today my children froze from the cold because the tent is very, very, very worn out. And we drowned when it rained for a while. We couldn't sleep.

Please, if you know someone who can donate to me, I need it very, very much so that I can at least survive."

To help them get through this week, we must raise at least $1000 to cover the cost of flour and milk. The long term goal is $100,000.

As of today (12/28), we are at:

$177/$1000

Thank you so much everyone! Because of your help, we raised $860 in under a week!

As you know, the need is endless when surviving a war. Here is my conversation with Rana about the state of her tent as they try to survive the winter.

To help Rana and her family stay warm, we need to help them raise funds for a new tent. This comes on top of their ongoing need for food, water, and daily provisions.

The updated goal is:

$835/$1700

Donate here.

Imagine this:

You once had a warm, safe home filled with love and comfort. Your children laughed and played with their favorite toys, cuddled in their cozy beds, and wore clothes that kept them warm through the seasons. But now, all of itโ€”your home, your childrenโ€™s comfort, and your familyโ€™s securityโ€”has been reduced to nothing but memories.

Story written by @visionsofaselfmademan

For Rana Abdul-Jawad, a wife and mother of four from Gaza, this is her heartbreaking reality. Her beautiful home, once a haven of joy, was destroyed, leaving her and her children in a torn and worn-out tent. They now face the unrelenting cold of winter with no warm clothes, no covers, and no reprieve. Her children shiver through each moment, vulnerable to illness from the freezing temperatures, and struggle to survive the harsh conditions.

Recently, the winter rain storms have flooded their fragile tent, soaking everything inside. Rana has spent entire nights desperately trying to stabilize it against the wind and rain, fearing it might collapse entirely. Despite her efforts, the tent cannot properly shield her family from the bitter cold or the relentless rain.

Image: Rana's tent, flooded with rain and barely holding up under the heavy winter rain storms.

Ranaโ€™s family needs your help. The soaring prices caused by war have made basic necessities like clothes and blankets unaffordable.

Ranaโ€™s plea is simple yet profound: โ€œPlease, save my children.โ€

Images: Rana's beloved children.

Your donation, no matter how small, can bring warmth, comfort, and hope to this family. It can mean the difference between enduring the cold and finding safety and security in these desperate times. Letโ€™s stand together to help Ranaโ€™s children find warmth and peace again.

You can donate to Rana's GoFundMe [HERE].

Rana is living in Gaza.๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ Her and her family need help and support Conditions are extremely harsh Rana and her family have lost they're home and are now living from a cold worn-out tent that is no way for anyone to live never mind children Rene's husband Ahmed Abed El Jawwad lost his job at a Language Training Centre due to it being destroyed like many other buildings in Gaza Rana and Ahmed have 4 wonderful children Ryiad they're eldest is only 11 they have two 6 year olds Omar and Alean while the youngest Lean is only 3 years old these children deserve to have a they're childhood which is sadly not possible in they're home land due to the ongoing genocide

Rene and her family are in desperate need of food with basic food like a bag of flour exceeding $300 / โ‚ฌ287.17

Sadly like many other days they must go without food vegetables are just as expensive while meat is a rarity Rene's children haven't had meat in 4 month and as we all know meat it a crucial part of a healthy diet this lack of food sadly lead to Rene's youngest daughters leen being hospitalised for the lack of food thankfully she was able to persevere and survive but if they are gonna havw any chance surviving they'll need help from others if you can donate please do so Rene and her family desperately need your help and just a small donation would do so much for them and if your not in the position to donate please share this and Shere Rene's story

Disclaimer: I am NOT an official vetter, and I did NOT vet this. That was done by the aforementioned vetted Palestinian, I'm just the messenger. I personally believe this campaign is legitimate given the evidence and encourages you to share and donate

Imagine being a mother of four, forced to flee your home again and again, each time leaving behind more of the life you once knew. Now, you find yourself living in a small, makeshift tent, without access to clean water, sufficient food, or medical care.

Now imagine your little daughter, sick with an intestinal infection caused by the polluted water youโ€™re all forced to drink just to survive. You're doing everything you can to save her...but the medical bills are so high, and your family can barely afford to eat.

This is reality for Rana ( @ranafam2 ), a a 37-year-old mother of four from Gaza. With a masterโ€™s degree in statistics and a husband who dedicated his life to teaching English, their lives were upended by relentless war. Her husband's educational centers, which once provided hope and opportunity to their community, were destroyed. Their home was reduced to rubble, and now they live in a small, overcrowded tent, struggling to survive.

As a mother, Rana battles lung infections caused by cooking over open fires due to the unaffordable cost of cooking gas. Her children are deprived of education, living in constant fear of disease and epidemics that plague the overcrowded camps. With no access to basic necessities like clean water, food, or clothing, their lives hang by a thread.

Despite these hardships, Rana fights tirelessly to protect her children and give them a chance at life. She dreams of escaping the horrors of war, ensuring her children can grow up safe, healthy, and educated.

Rana's heartbreaking struggle continues to worsen as her youngest daughter, who is under two years old, battles a severe intestinal infection caused by polluted water and a lack of proper nutrition and vitamins. The little girl is critically ill, but the family has no access to medical care or essential medicines to treat her. The scarcity of basic supplies like diapers only adds to the despair, as the family remains trapped in a cycle of illness and poverty in the overcrowded tent camps.

Epidemics are spreading rapidly through the camp due to the unsanitary conditions, leaving Rana and her children more vulnerable than ever. Rana, as any good mother in her situation would, feels hopeless and frustrated as she watches her daughter's health deteriorate.

Your help can provide the life-saving medical care, food, and clean water that Ranaโ€™s daughter so desperately needs. Every contribution brings hope to this family and a chance for their children to escape the devastating impacts of war.

Please consider donating to their campaign and sharing their story to help save Ranaโ€™s daughter and ensure a brighter future for this family.
