i mean i kinda think insisting on not seeing boobs at all is kind of lame weenie behavior is the thing

this might sound harsh but imo that's just not a realistic accommodation to expect in a scenario where we're trying to destigmatize naked human bodies

people will come up with 10 thousand excuses on why they don't actually agree with something when they pretend to do so. anyway I hope people realized that a lot of the stigmatization against nudity/nude bodies is quite literally the result of colonization/imperialism and overall fascism.

what I mean by that is colonizers viewed the nudity of black and indigenous people as "obscene" and inherently sexual because of the avid dehumanization of them. it's literally just fascist bullshit spread in people's brains SPECIFICALLY AMERICANS. (my European gf has told me many times that America's weirdness about nudity was strange and I agree)

another point: second hand dysphoria, while it is a thing, is entirely on you and is 100% manageable and saying other people's bodies, especially if they are other trans men with breasts, makes you "dysphoric" you need to genuinely push pass that and grow up and stop getting uncomfortable over other bodies. as harsh as that is I'm sure other people don't like being told they're dysphoria inducing.

I wanna add that a big part of the world is also a whole lot less weird about naked genitals. Like, seeing vaginas and penises in an all ages, all genders space like a beach, sauna, pool etc. is totally a total normal experience in many places and it's not seen as sexual or as something that violates the person that sees the genitals. That is also puritan & fascist bullshit.

we're afraid of one of the men in our house, dude gets on our case and the case of the other woman (who is cis) all the fucking time, complaining about everything we do and acting like he goddamn owns the place despite the fact that he's paying for it exactly as much as we are.

Dude has constantly side eyed me from day one, constantly raised his voice at me, constantly threatened me. I legitimately thought he was gonna hit me this morning.

We've talked with the other woman in the household and she agrees that this just ain't fucking okay and we're gonna like, do something about this because we can't keep living like this.

Dude had us cornered in the kitchen, screaming at us and demanding an answer and no matter what we said it was an excuse for him to yell more. Dude will hold his employment over our head but when I'm doing shit way too early to make it to a job interview it's not his problem. Dude will yell at us while we're on the phone to our girlfriend making her part of the situation too with no fucking care.

In the entire time we've lived here he has had One casual conversation with us. Only one. He saw us wearing an Iron Man tshirt and struck up a casual chat about the MCU. Literally every conversation since has been new house rules or an excuse to yell at and berate us.

We won't deny we are at fault for some of the things he yells about, we apologise even when he's being a total asshole about it. We apply shit he asks us to do but then he stops doing shit for the house.

Dude thinks he owns the place. Dude thinks he's an authority over the women in the house.

doing better today. Still afraid of him but sleep helped us out a lot. He's not home right now and we wish he'd just stay gone and not come back in a few hours.

He really like, triggered something hard in our past yesterday and it fucking sucks.

I hope this works out, we want to feel safe in my own home.

we know it's funny to laugh at the existence of TV Licences in the UK but honestly it's a fucking disgusting concept that speaks loudly to the position the BBC have. They've always had a stranglehold on media and refuse to let it evolve until someone has the guts to break the law about it, at which point they'll absorb the law breaking thing and lowkey take credit for it.

You cannot watch any live television legally without paying the BBC, even if you never use any of their actual services or watch any of their shows they must benefit from your access to live entertainment and news.

If you don't have a licence they'll fucking hound you about it too, threatening you with fines if you happen to be using a service they don't fucking own that is covered by laws that exist strictly to benefit them. This shit is like, straight up a scare tactic to make you panic and pay up to avoid paying more, literal scam behavior.
