so since kirby always thinks i need to do something about it... here's a jacky blurb!!
at the moment what's coming to my mind is just the way he would look at his significant other. i mean he'd have literal stars in those pretty blue eyes. you know the way he looks at nico??? yeah. that but turned up to 100. man is down BAD and he is NOT scared to show it. honestly he prob gets crap from his brothers soooo often bc he always looks so lovestruck when you're in his line of sight.
"Bro, I know you haven't even been together a month yet, but when are you gonna stop looking at her like you've never seen her before?" Luke is quick to chirp his older brother, already tired of his heart eyes.
"When she stops being the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, I guess." Jack shrugs, and Luke lets to a huff from beside him. "Never gonna happen, by the way."
"You still looking at her like that even after you've locked her down for good?" Quinn asks him after slapping a hand on Jack's shoulder at the wedding reception. They were both watching you gush with your maid of honor.
"Of course, man. God, just look at her. I get to come home to her every day of my life. What's not to love?"
No matter what, Jack will always look at you like you've hung every star in his sky, but there will come a day when that look isn't ONLY reserved for you, though.
Jack was holding his baby girl in the delivery room, amazed at how small she was, how well she fit into his hands. You notice the look on his face, the one he always swore was reserved for you. You find that you don't mind sharing it with your daughter, though.
"You're so perfect, sweet girl. Can't wait to watch you grow up. Maybe don't do it too fast, though. I don't wanna miss anything."
You watch as he plants the softest kiss he can manage on top of her head, and just when you think he's never gonna take his eyes off of her, they dart over to you. He still has that same look in his eyes, too, the one that says just how much he loves you, how amazed he is by you, how thankful he is to have you in his life.
