Bucktooth 'N Gapi is a funnies-first webcomic featuring the titular characters, Bucktooth and Gapi, who are roommates in an ambiguously-blue fifth-story apartment. It's inspired by the likes of Cocksley & Catapult, Calvin 'n Hobbes, Punkitt-Is-Here's Horsecomix, and Garfield.

misc. silly gapi doodles

i wish i had more of these for buck, but most of the time when i'm doodling him he's just standing there with a neutral expression.

a set of sketch pages including proto-jaja, femtanyl creatures, vinny neck shenanigans, and species-swapped buck, gapi, and vinny. as well as a few scrapped designs. i don't know why i crossed out that lynx-looking guy, he looks fine to me now.

a pair of other gapi sketches. writing by the first one says "Gapi in a sweater." i'm a bit disappointed that that scan came out so lopsided, but at least none of the drawing itself got cut off. the second one is an exercise page, i was trying to get good at drawing gapi's head quickly. it ended up looking silly, so i scanned it lol

the scan was really lopsided for this one, though i dont really mind. buck's proportions are super off. can you tell i hadn't gotten used to drawing them yet? writing beside them says "Funny guys"

he is so farsighted that its bordering on ridiculous. i also asked my buddy @chaoslynx(who works as an optician) if he wanted to help me write something thats actually interesting and this is what he sent back

in short: his eyes get so much smaller because his lenses are thick as hell to correct his horrific farsightedness(though, of course, with how simple the comic's style is i cant portray that in-comic)
