DIO and Medea's mom forces her to sit out on her trip to Hawaii due to it being a state in the US, loosely inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion as we as this drawing: Link

DIO: *On the rotary phone* ...... Hmm, is that right?...Oh that's a shame, but I guess there's nothing I can do except break the news to her...I'm sure she'll understand, mother knows best after all...thank you for letting me know, goodnight. *Hangs up* Ooooo~ she's sooooo going to be disappointed when she gets back from Downtown.

Instagram article on hypersexuality self censoring with words like "Corny" in place of horny "Hypersegsual" "High leebeedo" and people in the comments being like & remember! hypeeseggsuality can be caused by childhood 🍇 and other bad things !! The world is ending like I hope the world ends

Bruh, who the fuck says this????

The good news: you get to pick your new soulmate! (You can define "soulmate" however you want: platonic/romantic/partners in crime/etc. But they will be in your life, constantly.)

The bad news: you don't get to pick where they come from.

Spin this wheel until you get a fandom with characters that you recognize. As soon as you do, stop. One of those people* is going to be a constant presence in your life, whether you like it or not. So choose wisely.

*broadly defined

This is important to keep in mind.

I also have this issue with how people talk about Reagan as well. They are both horrific and septic human beings, but the problem is the US itself. Saying otherwise has the implication that the Atrocities are okay as long as they only target colonized peoples, "but when you come for American settlers that's too far!"

The mythologization of the US's past in general irks me. There has been no point in which the US has been great and never will be unless we're willing to accept an acceptable level of genocide.

FDR is another example of this on the other end of the spectrum. He didn't do all those programs out of love for socialism. He did it because he wanted to rescue capitalism from revolution and destabilization to prevent a leftist uprising. Also the anti-Asian racism and interring Japanese people.

fuck the US, basically.

Exactly, America may have done some good, but they've also did shitty stuff in the past under the guise of justice because of jerkasses running the government and will CONTINUE to do shitty stuff under the guise of justice because of said jerkasses.

Asking because I'm curious.

......No? What is that?

Ah! Seems a lot of folks don't know, so I may as well explain the basics: It's a technique in AI image generation where you sketch over a specific part of an image to select it, and then add in another prompt.

Which basically re-edits only that part of the image to alter it, ending up making the AI image less a process of endless prompting and reprompting the wholeass image and more an artistic process that I'd say resembles collage, at least in how I'd compare it to how I work with my photomanips.

@reachartwork actually uses it a lot in her work, tho as she'll point out the actual technical processes of AI are not, in fact, a "magic collage machine" and a fair bit... weirder, I'm just more comparing the creative process of making art out of it if you get me.

Hm, that's interesting. Still not touching AI though.
