Hi There Friends!
I hope you are having a wonderful day! I am the the-metaphorical-jellicle-cat and this is my blog. Here are some important links to take note of:
My main blog is @hilli98215
My literature side blog (which you may see sometimes) is @ravenclaw-booknook95
My AO3 account is hilli98215
Here’s a little bit about myself:
- I am a writer, Cats 2019 analyst (meaning I analyze different scenes and add my own comments)
- a lover of reblogging content, and a supporter of content creators.
- I also have a series (when I remember) where I post positive posts on various topics. These are always open to submissions of characters or topics.
- Because I am a writer I usually post a lot about my writing process and how I come up with my ideas. This tends to happen at the oddest times even when I announce a fic or a fic idea. Or even an AU idea that may not go anywhere. If you decide you want more of the AU/idea feel free to send me an ask and I’ll delve more into this insane idea. I am always open to talk about it.
Things you really really need to know:
- I am over 18. If you are under 18 please do not message me.
- I do not ship or condone incest/pedophilia.
- If I do not like a ship that you send me an ask to write for or if I find the ship uncomfortable, I will not answer the ask. I may answer privately to tell you I will not be answering it. I repeat this several times over the course of this post. Please be respectful.
- If I reblog anything without the proper tags, tw, or cw, please immediately send me a message and/or an ask to tell me to tag it.

General information about what I post:
Tags: I try my best to tag posts. Sometimes I either do a quick reblog or quick queue due to being at work or away from my computer. If I ever forget to tag something that triggers you or you think it may trigger someone else, please please let me know. I will fix it. I am not averse to finding the post and putting the correct tags. I also like to add my own comments in the tags if I can’t find the words as that is sometimes easier than putting those in a post. The mind works in strange ways.
Asks: I love getting asks. Ask me anything, please. It can be about fandom(s), my writing, what I think about things, or something completely random. Be aware that if I receive an ask during the day (especially during the week) it may take me several days to answer due to work and other things. If I receive anything inappropriate it will be deleted and not answered. Even though I am an adult, I do have boundaries and please respect that.
Tagging Games and being Tagged in General: I don’t mind being tagged in things. I’m just happy that people think of me… but seriously I love it. Just like with asks, I’ll get to it eventually. Even if I never get to them, I love it.
Submissions: The same rules apply here as for asks. Feel free to make all kinds of submissions but please make them appropriate or I will not post or queue them.
Writing: I tend to post about my writing process, announce a fic, or any idea that comes to mind. If you want to be tagged when I post my fics so you can read them before the email (which gets irritating sometimes to me), please let me know. I have a list and I’ll add you to it. Or if you have a specific character or pairing you like and want to be notified. Just tell me.
If you want to know where I get all these prompts, ideas, how I get myself to write, or why I like to do what I do, feel free to send me an ask. I’d love to answer them.
Cats 2019 Scene Analysis and Commentary: Like I stated above, I like to analyze various scenes from the 2019 film. I created a post on how to find these posts right here It explains how to find these posts on both mobile and on the website. Please remember if you comment, reblog, or whatever that you are polite. And as a general rule if anyone has questions about the process, why I do this, or anything related to headcanons to Cats 2019 feel free to ask. I’d love to answer them.
Incorrect Quotes: I love making these. Some are based on real-life while some are from other sources. If you have a role play blog or you like to role play, you are welcome to use any of my incorrect quotes. In fact, I love it when I see it happen.
In general: This is a drama-free blog. I get enough of that in real life. I don’t need that here.
