[how different is the challenge? ‘cause i mean, down there, you’re on the ice in all situations, doing everything, and here, you’re having to pick your spots, it seems like.]   well, like …   [in the NHL, versus what you did in the AHL.]   yeah, obviously, it’s different. you play twenty, twenty-two a night, and now you’ve gotta find your role. so, uh, yeah, it’s obviously a challenge, and, um … you just gotta find a way.   [can it be a fun thing, too? ‘cause, i mean, again, your line goes hard every single shift. and not saying you didn’t do it in the AHL, but i mean, you — you guys go — when you get your opportunity, you go hard, and that does see, like a fun way to play hockey.]   uh, yeah. i mean, we have to, uh … that’s our role here, and, um, we’re in a (blank) where, uh, you gotta bring momentum to the team, and, uh, you gotta — try to, uh, help, help the team win, uh, the way you can. and, um, no matter how much you play, when you have a chance to go out there, we try to go as hard as we can, and, uh, leave it all on the ice. so, um … yeah. ah, we try to go hard.

Was able to attend my first even nhl game as a celebration for something very personal in my life. And the devils did not disappoint me
