The brilliant thing about Farscape is that when it's doing a "ship is broken, can't go anywhere" episode, you're not just worried about the characters on the ship, you're also worried about the ship as a character. That emotional investment does wonders for upping the stakes, it must be said.

the skywalkers look hilarious next to each other on height comparison chart, but also:
- padmé is the tallest skywalker lady with confirmed canon height, closely followed by shmi and mara;
- jaina proudly holds the title of the tiniest adult skywalker;
- anakin is the tallest skywalker ever, followed by jacen;
- (is there a minimal height requirement for the banite sith of the family?);
- JAINA AND JACEN’S HEIGHT DIFFERENCE IS 33 CM, THE TOP OF HER HEAD CAN BARELY REACH HIS SHOULDER, THAT'S GREAT;
- they are the ultimate tol and smol sweu duo;
- out of the three couples, luke and mara have the smallest height difference, just 12 cm 🥺❤;
- adult jacen is barely taller than han;
- (tall enough to get petty about it though);
- luke and 17-ish anakin solo are the same height, but grown up nik would have been 2-3 cm taller;
- and therefore no threat to luke's first (from the end) spot on the skywalker men height scale.

Luke grew up in the middle of nowhere and Han is probably only aware of what Chewie’s told him so I assume Leia is carrying.

So, apparently you are the keeper of all of the best crack-y Star Wars AUs that feature Obi-Wan. After the Anakin/Obi-Wan comic, Anakin does decied to leave the order, and so Obi-Wan says "Ok," they pack up there earth tone suitcase, and head straight towards the outer rim. Anakin is really confused the entire way, and they stop at Mandalore of all places, and Obi-Wan just walks into the palace, smiles at the duchess and is all "Honey, I'm home, and I brought us a son."
OH MY GOD. OK OK OK.
1. I am deeply proud to be considered a leading purveyor of fine Star Wars Crack. As I say in my tumblr description, I take not taking Star Wars seriously very seriously.
2. Obi-Wan and Satine raising Anakin is amazing?? And hilarious?? I mean OK I would assume that if Anakin actually had left, he’d probably want to go back to his mother but WHATEVER, this is an AU where for whatever reason that’s not an option. Can you even imagine the look on Satine’s face when Obi-Wan shows up there with 12-year-old Anakin? What if this is the version of this AU where Satine and Obi-Wan also had a secret kid before, so Anakin gets a baby brother? Does this make Anakin the son of the Duke of Mandalore????
At some point Obi-Wan and Satine retire/abdicate for some reason, leaving Anakin Skywalker The Jedi Chosen One to rule Mandalore. GOD HELP THE GALAXY.
Okay but after all the bullshit at the temple, Anakin would be thrilled to have a baby brother, after a brief period of suspicion because he has to share Obi Wan, but Anakin with his own little Korkie-duckling following him around like he’s the best thing ever? Yeah, he’d love it.
RIGHT??? Anakin would love this so much. AND Korkie is A BABY OBI-WAN NO LESS so Anakin’s going to be about 500% more attached to him.

okay i have to add - imagine all the crazy adventures of anakin and korkie because we all know anakin’s penchant for finding trouble starts when he’s like 2 months old
so imagine anakin and korkie getting into a Situation and Obi-Wan and Satine coming out of nowhere with blasters and sabers and kicking someone’s butts, fighting perfectly together, and at the same time scolding the kids like really anakin, how do you get into these situations?
OMG I love the Kryze-Kenobis and their troublemaking sons. BEST FAMILY EVER.
ALSO: Mace Windu’s face the day he finds out that the Duchess of Mandalore has decided to retire early from the throne, and that the new leader of Mandalore is her eldest son, Anakin Skywalker.
I feel like if Palpatine’s still in power by that point he would be terrified by this, because it’s one thing to have Anakin in the Order where he can isolate him and manipulate him into the Dark Side, but instead Anakin’s grown up with two badass parents who loved him and kept him away from Palpatine and now he’s the leader of a system full of crazy hotheads on jetpacks whose love of fighting is legendary. My God, Anakin could take over the universe!
This also opens up the possibility of Satine gleefully introducing her young Senator friend Padme Amidala to her handsome son, the Prince (or whatever) of Mandalore. Someone better get the smelling salts ready because Padme’s going to faint when she sees Anakin in this AU.
WAIT! Does this mean that Prince Anakin Skywalker Kenobi et Kryze von Tatooine gets to wear the Mandalore royal garb? Full regalia? With those freakish, harp-like collars? THE HEADDRESS? (suddenly, Anakin Skywalker gets another half meter worth of height.)
Yes, well, at least for formal functions. He’s probably got a nice Mando jetpack getup, too that he’s tricked out himself because he’s Anakin so of course he has.
Also I kind of want to start tagging this flavor of the Scandalore AU “Prince Anakin Skywalker Kenobi et Kryze von Tatooine” because it is cracking me up. I’m totally going to.
