I could be wrong, but I believe that's actually a *male* honeybee! The males (drones) aren't as large as the queens, but they're bigger than workers. The eyes are also bigger, for spotting virgin queens. You don't see them out of the hive often, only for mating flights!

The great face reveal!

Tons and tons and tons of work on fixing the default hiver's rig and mesh in all these ways that will make her vastly easier to animate, and look much better animated...and all I have that I can directly show off here is that the helmet comes off, with a blank head inside. Sigh.

I have some more work to do on fixing up the remaining problems with the rig, but that should be doable within the day. Then, time to make and rig hair! Luckily, I found an add-on to help. After that, making the Mobia variant of the model, and then a secret second variant on top of that. Ideally, it shouldn't take much longer than the weekend to do that, but we'll see.

After that...Vera. Oh boy.

After that, all the remaining insects...and after that, I'm thinking I'm going to enlist help on making all the assets, and just get right to work on staging. Depending on how much help I can get, it hopefully won't be much longer after that that I can get to work on animating! Two more months on all that, two additional months on animation. At seven months of work, this episode will have taken two months longer than usual.

Well, that's what happens when you want to rehaul everything, while making an exceptionally long episode, with a lot of new characters. I hope you find it all worth it! Until next time!

I've launched a Kickstarter for an enamel pin of Sophodra, with a goal of $300 and a stretch goal of $500. Get your pin for just $15 (and stickers, too)! Every cent helps me make the series, and I really appreciate it!

Holy cow, in less than 24 hours it's not only been funded, not only hit the stretch goal, but even made almost three times the original goal!!! I can't thank you all enough for your support, Humans-B-Gone! couldn't happen without you!

Pins have to be ordered in bulk (minimum 100 pins at a time), which means each additional pin design costs another $200, so I don't think I'll do an additional pin for a stretch goal. 

I could do more stickers, though! What designs would you like to see?
