CBS Ghosts Master Post

Hi All! I'm Jen, I'm also Jmagnabo92 on Tumblr. This blog is dedicated to CBS Ghosts & Trevor. I can ship him with pretty much everyone, so I'm game to talk about any possible ship with him.

I welcome anyone to come and chat with me about this silly show.

Please Note that I am trying to avoid spoilers - so anything passed current episodes & the promo that appears at the end of each Thursday episode should not be mentioned.

I still have to go through and link all of the master posts, but I wanted to at least label out my fanfics. Each Title has the AO3 link. Although you can find them on Tumblr, too. Many of them are currently HMoney, but I don't think that will hold for long.

Decisions, Decisions - M, T/H, 33K - After the events of the holidays, Hetty's teasing of Trevor leads them down an interesting path together.

Trevor's Body - G, T/H, 2.9K - Trevor's memorial weekend prompts a conversation that leads to a different ending to Trevor's Body.

The Bet - M, T/H, 2.5K - After Nigel's cryptic comment, Trevor learns that there's been a bet about him and Hetty getting together. This leads him to encourage Hetty to take Nigel's power away by telling everyone and learning of who won the bet.

Heartbreaker - T, T/H, 4.1K - The events of Alberta’s descendent through Trevor’s eyes & and the resulting aftermath of Hmoney’s coming out. Hetty and Trevor deal with Hetty's feelings of embarrassment and how they came to be together.

Jay's Board of Ghosts - T, T/H, 6.5K - Freddie has more proof when he confronts Sam and Jay about the ghosts, and the ghosts trap situation goes a little differently.

Touch Me Tender - T, T/H, 9K - Now that HMoney is out, Trevor enjoys the fact that Hetty loves to touch him, openly, and that they spend so much time together - even sharing Hetty's bed and having sleepovers. Which leads to a slumber party and certain secrets coming out about Trevor.

World War Teatime - T, T/H, 6.5K - After their plot to put their relationship back on their terms, Hetty and Trevor decide to date one-on-one in secret with Jay's help.

The Gentlemen's Club - T, T/H, 11.3K - When Sam decides to go see if David is a ghost, Trevor asks to use the ghost trap to see if he can attend the meeting. Hetty, not wanting to potentially lose him, decides to risk it, too, and the two of them get to have their first adventure together outside of the mansion.

Planning Ghostly Adventures - M, T/H, 11.8K - After Trevor's reveal that the ghost trap can be used for ghostly adventures, the ghosts go crazy wanting to travel for the first time since they died. Planning these adventures lead to fun discussions for Trevor, who's responsible for helping organize it all since he was given a special present.

A Dream Come True - G, T & his family, 22.8K - The day after Trevor breaks things off with Hetty, he wakes up alive and finally gets the second chance on life that he's always wanted and - bonus - it lets him escape his problems.

Butterfly Time With Flower - G, T & F, 1.7K - A month after Trevor becomes a ghost, he’s wallowing on the first day of Hannukah until Flower comes up with a distraction.

The Apology - G, T & Sam, 1.8K - After Sam has acknowledged them, Trevor struggles to apologize for his part in her accident and the event that would change her life forever.

Late Night Conversations - M, T/H H&I, 2.1K - When Trevor can't sleep the night of the fight with Hetty, he seeks her out and spies a late night conversation that puts their fight in perspective.

Trevor's New Pad - E, T/Sass, 5.8k - Trevor spends one night in the library after Nigel's blackmail before deciding he can't do this. He moves out to the Carriage House, and when Sass follows him, they're both in for a surprise at what that does for their relationship.

A French Anniversary - E, T/H & T/Sass, 8.5K - After Trevor's slip-up when Hetty's almost year-long banishment, the house knew that he and Hetty stayed together. Now, their anniversary approaches and both Trevor and Hetty find gifts that are perfect for one another.

To Be Affectionate - T, T/H, 1K - Trevor thought that being public with Hetty again meant that they could be affectionate in front of the house the way they had been in the last twenty years, but due to the deal that Hetty initiate those touches, he struggles with not knowing if he's allowed to be his normally affectionate self. Luckily, Hetty's there to reassure him.

It's A Twin Thing - M, T/H & T & Jeremy, 21.6K - A few weeks after Hetty's almost banishment, Trevor's in for a surprise when his twin brother stops by.

Cuddle Him - E, T/Sass & Sam/Jay, 3.1K - After the big moment with Ari and the watch, Trevor sort of deflates in sadness, Sass wants to help and Jay suggests cuddling him. None of them expected where cuddling would lead to.

Ghostly Love - M, T/B, 31K - WIP - After meeting Bela, Trevor can't help wishing that they could continue dating, but Sam and Jay order him not to message her again. And yet, when Bela messages him first, Trevor gets his wish.

Girl Talk - G, F & H (Trevor & T/H only mentioned), 2.6K - Hetty's favorite part about rooming with Flower is that it's easier to sneak back into her room after her late-night visits with Trevor, that is until Flower finally catches her and they engage is some roommate girl talk about Trevor.

Ghostly BFFs - T, T/F, 4.9K - Sometimes, dying leads to a best friend - and sometimes, that best friend becomes so much more. Flower's been in love with her best ghostly friend for years, keeping it a secret, until one day... the secrets out.

That's all for now - but I've got a billion ideas and stories that have been started & not yet finished. So, there will be more :)

Flowers win makes no sense.

Flower can't technically have money because she doesn't have a bank account (Trevor clearly set one up for himself but he wouldn't have a fake SSN for Flower to give her the money - just like Isaac).

This means that Trevor probably sent the money to Sam who then bought the skates because FLOWER CAN'T Touch the computer.

That makes SAM had have done this to punish Trevor for no reason. Which is shitty and again those skates now belong to Sam not Flower.

And I feel like Sam might have been okay using the money on candles, but I can't see her wanting to be involved in this chaos to this extent especially when Trevor gave some of his money to fix the fountain AND he's saved or gotten them money multiple times and saved Sam's life multiple times.

Not to mention that why was it okay for Isaac, who didn't earn that money, to spend it on what he wanted (although giving it to the restaurant) and then having control over said restaurant when again he didn't earn that money???

Gahh I'm so annoyed by this plotline.

Side note - it'd be mighty shitty of Thor to light the skates on fire when we can see that a Trevor and Thor have a good friendship going.

Also it seems weird for Flower suddenly have all this idea for scheming when she's never been that way before and she can't even remember Jays name.

I agree 100%.

I noticed that Flower's hair wasn't as "big" as it usually is. It looked straighter.

Huh I didn't notice that (about the hair) but I seem to be in a minority. A lot of people seemed to really liked the storyline.

I think I would have liked it better if it was like this with the room switch from a few episodes ago - like if she had won that one. But this one feels meanspirited, I guess?

Like is Trevor buying the skates any different to Jay buying shoes or action figures? Is it any different than Isaac buying a dino bed? Or Alberta wanting a life size poster of Jason Momoa (which btw should not cost 5 grand).

Not really. And that's what bugs me about it. Why is he bad for buying skates when other ghosts aren't?

But also the teach her a lesson thing came Hetty and the only one losing here is Trevor.

It's not different, and I don't understand WHY Flower (and Thor) would want to be that nasty towards Trevor.

Exactly and that's why it bugs me, I think.

And it really doesn't make any sense for make love not war Flower to do this.

I think it's a bit unfair to say this is going against "make love not war Flower". Like keep in mind Flower has robbed a bank before (which I would say is a bit war because the bank tellers aren't willingly giving it away) and she already has a mentality of sticking it to the man.

This is exactly what she did, sticking it to the man (being Trevor). Like what is more sticking it to the man than using his own money that was meant for him to prove Flower a hypocrite and make him give you more money to donate to charity. The line at the end that was roughly "this is just capitalism" is exactly what a smart hippie would do to stick it to the man, basically proving his system of money is cruel.

Also, threatening to do something isn't the exact same as doing it. Could Flower be bluffing? She probably wouldn't make Thor go through with it and would have a change of heart. I'm not disagreeing that this episode hasnt had the characters a bit out of character, but there is some logic to what is going on that was at least enjoyable for me.

Honestly, I think it's perfectly fair because she's said more than once "make love not war" - just because she did rob a bank doesn't mean she's really a war person.

And she's not going against "the man", she's going against her friend, who gave her money that he earned and that's shitty. The fact that she didn't earn the money, and then used it against him makes it worse than him testing her.

The idea to teach her a lesson isn't any better, honestly, but if she had donated the money, he wouldn't have cared. She could've chosen to be the better person - which all of the ghosts claim she is and didn't.

We don't know if she's bluffing or not but threatening it is bad enough.

Personally, I am just not a fan of the way this went down.

As I said, if it was a situation with the ROOMS that happened and she won and figured it, it'd be different, but I don't like the judgement she showed or using this against him.

But that's just my opinion. It's okay if you don't agree. We all see things differently. And when I saw a picture of Trevor and Flower together before the episode, I thought it was going to be a fun, silly friendship plot lines because I like those - its not what happened and I'm disappointed.

I wonder if Elias has possessed Flower so that he could put a wedge in between the ghosts, which is why she is a bit 'off'.

Can you possess a ghost? I did see a theory that Joan was Elias in disguise.🥸

CBS Ghosts 4x18 Live Reaction

This episode is called "Smooching and Smashing" - OMFG.

OMG - This Mandy and Georgie show had Georgie asking his MOM if his brother was actually his dad's even though he's a twin! "It's the perfect cover" - LMAO.

And now we know why the name is what is - damn.

When did Flower get smart? And when does it stop? 😒

I do love Thor's and Sass' friendship.

I still like Joan and I'm happy she and Sass finally took a step in the right direction.

Next week's clip 😲

I don't know but I don't like it. (Mainly because it's used against Trevor - he always seems to be the one to lose).

I love Thor and Sass's friendship so much 💜

I think I'm in the minority regarding Joan and Sass. 😢

Omg right?? Like 15 seconds and we get Pinkus and A Kid???

It better be good.

Exactly. Why was she in Trevor's business in the first place?

Oh hell yes, don't tease us with that little moment for it to SUCK!!!

I think they're naturally in each other's business but still she gets to be all judgemental??? Not fair.

I hope it doesn't suck but they did set up the Ghost Trap only to STOP it just before the moment we could find out if it works.

And I get it... Like it would open the ghosts up to leaving indefinitely and hard to get them back...

So ... I just hope Trevors Pinkus episode is good.

Exactly. Sometimes I'm so done with Flower.

Yes, IF the ghost trap became the answer to bypassing the boundary issue, what's the point of Pete's (and Joan's) "power".

Trevor centric episode 😁

I don't know about Flower. She's been on a downward roll for me for a while so this is just a kicker.

Exactly! I think they could put a limit on it as well. And make it work to not limit the powers as much.

Yes! Hopefully it's good. Trevor's brother episode was disappointing so I'm hoping it's good 😊

CBS Ghosts Live Reaction 4x17

Okay, wait, is this Episode 17??? IDK why I can't remember!

Anyway, I heard this one was about Sass & Shiki???? (Only based on the name of it which I saw at a glance). I hope so!

Guess we'll see.

6 new episodes in a row! Nice!

I like Joan. 🤷‍♀️

I wonder if Sam has googled her and knows something that she hasn't shared yet.

I wonder if Sass and Shiki finally getting together will cause one of them to get "sucked off"?

I don't know what it was about her, but I wanted to like her, I just didn't think she was that great.

LOL that would be interesting - I think she was just excited to run her writing ideas by another more modern writer?

I do think Sass/Shiki will have ten seconds of happiness and then kiss (or Sass is no longer a virgin) and then, Shiki will get sucked off.

Guess we'll find out next week.

Although that guy makes me "nervous". Another ghost hunter. 🤣

That guy looked terrifying.

Hopefully they follow up with Sass and Shiki right away.

What the heck was he using? 🤨

Agree, hope the episode starts where tonight's ended.

Same. I'll be disappointed if they don't.

About hetty's power, i saw someone mention it could potentially not be about hetty being irish and st patricks day but maybe sunill was thinking about suicide and since thats how hetty died maybe she appears to people who are thinking about ending their lives

Hmm, interesting theory.

Although that doesn't explain why she "disappeared" at midnight.

And if THAT is the source of her power, it sucks. Most of the ghosts' powers are easily controlled by THEM.

This power of Hetty's seems to out of her control, at least for now.

Avatar

Omg omg.

That could be part of it. Like maybe she's what he needed to stay.

And shit.

That's rough.

For Hetty and for anyone contemplating it and then sees a fucking ghost. Like holy fuck.

That would be an interesting twist to the power but I really hope that's not it.

Exactly. That wouldn't be a power, it would be a trigger for her to remember the worst time of her life.

I prefer the Irish thing.

Tbh I just wished she had turned it on somehow instead of the connection to St Patty's Day.

But yeah that would be too rough for her I think.

And incredibly sad.

I do hope there's a happy reason for her power and she can use it more than once a year.

Also like Jay could see her too so unless he wants to be a ghost...

We don't want Jay dead.

But Bela on the other hand. 😁

I wanna Bela and Sunil talking about falling in love with a ghost.

And Bela to complain that it's not fair Sunil gets date a ghost and she doesn't.

Bela would be SOOOOO jealous.

Sunil actually got to interact with Hetty, poor Bela only saw a pic of Trevor.

Next time there's an opportunity for Pete to steal a body, she wants it to be hers so she can see Trevor.

Jay is NOT happy. Sunil says he thinks he'll just come back next St Patty's Day.

No he's not.

Other than his parents, every other relative has tried to hook up with a ghost.

I just thought of something, why wasn't Bela in the episode????? Hell, she should have been in the previous one, so that she could have seen Chris (alive), then been around to find out he was now a ghost.

Missed opportunity.

It really doesn't make any sense for her NOT to be apart of the episode - btw her job getting a hole in the rough, her cousin visiting, and the whole ghost plot, she REALLY should've been there.

Side note - this was basically Jay's Sister but with his cousin and a twist that he and Hetty actually got to date.

Exactly. What's the point of her being the manager of the restaurant if she isn't around?

True.

This feels like a problem with too many regulars.

Like they keep adding characters without realizing the issue that is NOT using those characters when they should be used.

Like (I know we dislike Carol) but it made NO sense for her not to be in Halloween or part of Pete's Christmas plot.

It make NO sense to not have Bela (and Trevor) be apart of this week's plot. And Bela should've been involved in the Critic plot, too.

In the Isaac's Book becomes a vampire plot, I feel like Nigel belonged there, for example.

In Thor almost goes to Hell, WHY wasn't Flower his 'great love' not involved?

Like, think about your characters and think about where they belong.

These plots and episodes are good, but there are pitfalls, and these are it. Not realizing that some characters belong in certain plots and some don't.

Sorry, jumped on a soap box.

Totally agree.

There are way too many characters, but some characters BELONG together.

Flower should have been at Thor's side.

Bela should have been managing the restaurant when Chris crashed thru the ceiling.

Yes, exactly!

There are some characters that should be apart of certain plots and they kind of forget that?

it's a little annoying.

For me it's 50/50? I do like it if the show involves the expected characters more in the plots they have a connection to, but on the other side there also is some realism about not having them around for everything that I also like.

While they are stuck in the same place, the grounds are still very large, with a lot of space to go around.

If the characters are around however, or do show up, even for another plot like with a 'Christmas Carol', then not involving them in those plots is indeed a bit strange. And they can absolutely do a lot more with those connections.

I totally get that.

In some cases, I can hand wave it away and just shrug it off but to me, in more and more cases I'm *noticing* hey why isn't this person involved in X plot.

And if it's so noticeable that I'm questioning it, I think they need to be there.

Like in the last 2 plots with the restaurant and Bela. It makes no sense that she wouldn't be involved. and maybe there's a line about her visiting Eric or something, but it was noticeable to me which to me, she needs to be there.

Some plots I can let it go but there's quite a few lately - like Carol doesn't feel anything on the anniversary of her death??? They could have had HER request be the reason that they don't have a party.

She's in the Christmas episode for Sass but not for Pete or Laura???

Like make it make sense. If you invite a character to stay you have to think about which plots they need to be a part of to make sense.

Idk maybe I'm just crazy and it does depend on the plot, but it's been bugging me.

Anonymous asked:

About hetty's power, i saw someone mention it could potentially not be about hetty being irish and st patricks day but maybe sunill was thinking about suicide and since thats how hetty died maybe she appears to people who are thinking about ending their lives

Hmm, interesting theory.

Although that doesn't explain why she "disappeared" at midnight.

And if THAT is the source of her power, it sucks. Most of the ghosts' powers are easily controlled by THEM.

This power of Hetty's seems to out of her control, at least for now.
