Hi! I'm Callie, I’m in love with fictional characters, and this is a yume blog. Shocker, right?

I’ve been a selfshipper and canon x OC fiend for as long as I can remember, but I’m only now working up the nerve to make a whole entire blog dedicated to the practice. Call it shyness, or call it not being able to figure out a good username for a long time, either works.

I’m hoping to use this blog as an outlet for all my big feelings about little animated guys and maybe make some friends in the process!

I have three primary fictional significant others, and I don’t like sharing them: Kenny McCormick (South Park), Leopold β€œButters” Stotch / Victor Chaos (South Park), and Joey Wilson (DC Comics + related media). It’s nothing personal, but I ask that you please don’t engage with me if you also selfship with them. Thank you!

A quick note on boundaries: I don’t believe in DNI culture as a whole, so I’m not going to make a list of people I don’t want around. Instead, I’m going to offer you some information for you to curate your own experience. I deal in dark and suggestive themes, so I block minors in my notes, I don’t care for discourse, I consider myself pro-fiction and anti-harassment, and I really, really don’t like doubles. Do as you will with this knowledge.

That being said, I don’t bite! Reach out if you’d like, especially if you’re a fellow DC or SP selfshipper, or if we share general interests.

Because this is a sideblog, I can't send asks from here directly (as of the time of this writing, at least). I think signing anons is a bad idea in general, and I don't care for sending asks pertaining to sideblog stuff on main, but I do practice reblog karma nevertheless! I'm just on anon for it.

As stated earlier, my writing and lore occasionally delve into dark and/or suggestive themesβ€” mild smut, violence, and consent issues are the usual suspects, but I'll do my best to warn for anything that might need to be warned for. I sometimes opt not to use warnings, AO3 style, but this will be mentioned in a fic's opening notes, also AO3 style.

I tag warnings for visual media using the format of [x] warning, as in flash warning, blood warning, and gore warning. I don’t directly tag my writing with warnings, thoughβ€” instead, I opt for an informational header and a catchall tag.

Block the tag #graveyard after dark if you'd rather not see smut, and the tag #graveyard after death if you don't want to see darker themes.

All works of this nature will be under a cut and given mature content warnings as necessary.

thinking about casual protectiveness today. a hand gently kept on my waist, to steer me around and keeping me close. gently pulling me around to switch sides when we’re out together, so that i’m always safe on the inside of the sidewalk. moving closer and reminding me of your presence whenever i seem anxious or uncomfortable. just…feeling protected. safe.

Hell yes, I love being the guy someone thinks of when they think of a fandom or character, it’s such a nice feeling! Fun fact, I didn’t actually like the color orange until my Kenny obsession set in, but now it’s one of my favorites!

And writing is my absolute favorite thing to do, second only to daydreaming about stuff I swear I’m going to write and then never actually remember to (lmao), so I’m absolutely ecstatic to hear that it’s My Thing. I absolutely love telling stories and playing pretendβ€” have you ever seen that one post that’s like β€œ(busy ruining the lives of people that don’t exist) I Am Playimg With My Toyes” or something along those lines? That’s me, 100%.

β™‘ keep a journal specifically for your f/o! write about them, your s/i, how you guys got together, et cetera

β™‘ make a loom or kandi bracelet with colors that remind you of them, and wear it whenever you can. bonus if you put their name on it in letter beads (this is tricky with the loom bracelet, but it is possible!)

β™‘ make a pinterest board themed after them. pin pictures of them, clothes you think they'd like, aesthetic things that remind you of them, and text posts that fit their vibe.

β™‘ make a playlist for them! it can be songs that you think fit their vibe, or songs you would want to show them.

Java & Ammo cuz I suck at finding names so I just wanted something that represented him and me. And S.oap is a soldier first and foremost and their first thing I thought about when thinking soldier was ammunition. And if he fights with ammunition then I fight with programming languages (kinda) and Java was the first I thought about 😭

I don't really uses emoji combos, but I think 🧼🩷 would be cute lol
