anyway, thank you for such an amazing year. a lot has happened, the good stuff AND the bad stuff, but 2022 was one of the best years so far regardless. i can’t wait to see what things happen in 2023 and what things i can achieve in 2023 !! thank you for sticking with my blog into its third year !!! at almost 3k !!! which makes me feel incredibly grateful and like i have been achieving things, not just staying stagnant. happy new year to you all !!

2022 is nearly over and 2023 is about to be here in any minute. It has been a year and I am honestly ready to head into a brand new year. But before we do that, I want to shout out some amazing friends and creators I have made on this little place called tumblr. Everyone is special and amazing to me, so if I miss you I promise I love you.

can’t believe 2022 is coming to an end! so much has happened in my life in just this one year! i wrote final exams for 3 semesters in this year alone! i completed a year on this site. i read a lot of books because of tumblr recommendations and made edits for some of the books i loved. i also met a lot of lovely people this year and am so excited for all the amazing people i’m going to meet next year.
this is an appreciation post for all my current mutuals. i love you all so much and you all made 2022 a better experience by being there anytime i needed you all. thank you for cheering me up when i was feeling low or was feeling stressed because of exams. thanks for bearing with me when i was obsessing over yet another fictional character. i love seeing each one of you on my dash and love talking to you here or on discord. it’s crazy how much you mean to me, people on the net <3
i love each and everyone of you and am so thankful that i get to be a part of your beautiful lives, even if we haven’t spoken much (or at all). wishing you all a very happy new year and hoping you all have an amazing year ahead, that treats you with kindness and love.

This is Kayla’s wife, Jillian. I am so sorry to have to tell you all that Kayla passed away during her surgery on July 31. I will include the link below to her obituary which includes the link to the donation we have set up to Nationwide Children’s Hospital where Kayla spent a lot of her time there until she was 18.
I wish I could tell you something about Kayla that you don’t all know but I know Tumblr was her home away from home. You knew she was a nerd and she loved comics, music and most of all - ALL OF YOU.
I have decided to leave this blog open and active. After all, she made some amazing gifs and it doesn’t feel right to delete her holy ground.
Feel free to reach out, share a story about Kayla and keep her in your heart along with her parents and I.
