I just wanted to pop in and say that I do have some stuff in the works! However, my computer decided to completely give up on life right after new years so I haven’t been able to work on anything since then. But hopefully I’ll be able to get it fixed soon and then I’ll finally be able to get back to my cc!
While much fancier than your average courtroom elopement, when you have Giselle Walsh and Francesca Pace as your witnesses, it's quite difficult to dress un-extravagant. Silk at the time was very hard to find so the fact that Lydia's dress is silk emphasizes the wealth she is now entering from her marriage to her husband. As a commoner, she takes her husband's name and title being addressed, so she is Lady Simon-Elliot, not Lady Walsh or Lady Lydia.

Have you considered making Princess Diana’s various hair styles? I’ve seen a few people try to recreate them but I do t think anyone could do her hair styles justice like you could, you’ve already proven how accurate your clothes are. Idk would just be cool to see lol no pressure x

Yes, I very much have! I too feel like there are very few really accurate Diana hairstyles out there. Especially when it comes to her hairstyles in the 80s!
Heyoo!! I have an outfit I'd like to suggest. It's a rather bold one, but it's pretty iconic. In 1987, Diana wore this bright yellow and black checked coat, a pretty thick belt with a matching turban-style hat. I remember the coat also had black buttons and she wore it with a pair of dark trousers. Thank you so much for making of this custom content for her!

And yes, I did make the Princess Diana wedding dress! It was actually the first piece of cc I ever made. (And it's not just the dress, it's a whole set...) Therefore it does have some flaws, for example I feel like it has too high of a poly count. But I am actually reworking and fixing the dress right now! So hopefully it will be ready to post soon!
But If anyone would still like the original version, just tell me and I could post that as well!

The poses I usually use in my thumbnails are either from this Diana pose pack by @theroyalsims or this Diana pose pack by @SunflowerPoses.
But mostly I create my own poses based on pictures of Princess Diana in the outfit that I'm recreating. I'm not claiming to be great at making poses but if anyone is interested I could share them. So just let me know :)
