🌿 Welcome to My Little Lair! 🌿

Hey there! I’m Loulitzin 🦊 (or just Lou if you prefer!)—an aspiring writer, professional overthinker, and full-time gremlin with way too many ideas and not enough courage or self-discipline to finish them. (Let’s blame ADHD for this one.)

So here I am, thriving in the chaos of fanfiction instead! 💌📖

Feel free to read on—this is more about me as a writer and person, what I’m into, etc. See below!👇

HEY FYOLAI FANS, I HAVE A QUESTION— ✨🎭

I’ve been thinking a lot lately, and I want to write something that’s been haunting me. 🥀💔
What if Nikolai, at some point, questions Dazai about his relationship with Chuuya?
Hear me out—SKK bicker, fight, throw hands 🥊🔥, but when it really matters, their trust is unshakable. Dazai schemes ♟️, Chuuya complains 💢, but they always have each other’s backs when things get real.
And then there’s Fyolai… 🕊️🖤👇🏽

1) Emotional Ceiling Time

When Chuuya is overwhelmed, sometimes he just removes himself from the situation. Not physically leaving—just… relocating. To the ceiling. Out of reach. It’s his version of taking a deep breath. Dazai: “I take it things aren’t going well.” Chuuya, sprawled upside down, whiskey glass dangling from one hand: “…What gave it away?

2) The Existential Ceiling Crisis

Sometimes, Chuuya just ends up on the ceiling and doesn’t know how or why. One second, he’s pacing. The next? He’s upside down, staring at the floor like it personally wronged him. The worst part? It’s contagious. One time, he was ranting mid-argument, gesturing wildly, when Dazai pointed up at him and said, “You realise you’re on the ceiling, right?” Chuuya paused. Looked down. Looked back at Dazai. “God fucking dammit.”

3) The Passive Aggressive Ceiling Move

Chuuya doesn’t storm out of arguments. He just removes himself from them. Mid-fight with Dazai? He’ll cross his arms and float straight up, glaring down like a disappointed parent.

There’s something so fascinating about the dynamic between Dazai and Ranpo that rarely gets the attention it deserves.

Their relationship isn’t built on the same kind of camaraderie we see with Dazai and Chuuya or Ranpo and Fukuzawa. Instead, it exists in this weird, nebulous space of mutual brilliance, calculated detachment, and an unspoken understanding that neither of them really need to try around the other.

Both of them are geniuses, but in very different ways. Ranpo’s intelligence is so deeply ingrained in his identity that he doesn’t even consider it a “gift”—it’s just who he is. His self-confidence is absolute, bordering on arrogance, because he knows he’s the smartest person in the room. He doesn’t second-guess himself because, in his eyes, there’s simply no reason to.

Dazai, on the other hand, is an entirely different breed of genius. His intelligence is adaptive, shaped by his time in the Mafia, honed for manipulation, survival, and deception. He’s brilliant, yes, but he’s also deeply aware of his own mind—sometimes to the point where he actively tries to outmaneuver himself. Where Ranpo is unwavering in his certainty, Dazai constantly tests and plays with possibilities, viewing life as a game where he’s always five steps ahead.

That’s where their dynamic gets interesting. 🤨 👇🏽

🚨 NEW CHAPTER ALERT! 🚨

It’s finally here! Chapter 4 of my Bungo Stray Dogs fic is LIVE! 🎉

You know the drill—Dazai’s his usual chaotic self, Chuuya’s ready to throw hands, and the tension? Oh, it's delicious. (or so I hope!)

Expect: ✨ Classic Dazai charm (with a side of mischief) ✨ Chuuya’s boiling temper (but he’s keeping it just under control) ✨ A bartender who just wanted a quiet night ✨ And of course... the usual unspoken history between these two! 💙🧡

I have one teensy bitsy question—if I borrow just a bit of your time? 😳💕

Ooh, this is a tough one! The first anime I ever watched was Naruto, so I guess SasuSaku? Older me feels a bit embarrassed about that… quickly replaced by ShikaTema😂 you know a more healthy option

Favorite childhood book:

If we consider “childhood” as prepubescent teen, then it has to be Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. I've read it a million times, and something about Patch had my heart aflutter—It was my first taste of morally-grey love interests. And let me tell you, it was a slippery slope from there, diving headfirst into a world of complicated romances! 😍

Currently reading:

I’m currently working my way through the BSD manga and other works, along with Apothecary Diaries and the entire Ana Huang universe! 📚💫

Souheki is purely platonic to me BUT I do love the canon fact Dazai saw Ranpo using his skill-that's-not-actually-a-skill (this is an important precision) once and immediately became his n°1 stan. His diehard fan. The leader of his fanclub (which he created). It's the cutest thing in the world and I love re-reading that part of the light novel just because of Dazai's evident enthusiasm when talking about Ranpo.

I love the dynamic between Dazai and Ranpo—it’s such an underrated relationship.

There’s something so interesting about how they’re both geniuses but in completely different ways, and yet they just get each other without needing to prove anything.

Might do a mini deep dive into this later because there’s so much to unpack.

1. The Tactical Ceiling Advantage

Chuuya doesn’t just stand on the ceiling—he weaponises it. Mid-fight, he’ll dodge an attack by casually flipping upwards, forcing his opponent to scramble just to track him. It’s almost unfair. No one ever looks up when fighting indoors, and he uses that to his full advantage. Dazai, of course, makes it a point to always look up. It’s saved his life more than once.

2. The Mafia Has Given Up

At this point, Mori doesn’t even question it. Kouyou doesn’t even look when she scolds him to get down. The Black Lizard has stopped reacting entirely. Higuchi still flinches. Tachihara once made the mistake of standing under him—Chuuya dropped down and nearly gave him a heart attack.

3. It’s Not Just for Battle

Chuuya claims he only does it for practicality, but the truth? It’s a habit. When he’s thinking, he sometimes finds himself pacing along the ceiling like it’s the floor. When he’s drinking, he’ll kick back upside down like it’s the most normal thing in the world. One time, he fell asleep up there and woke up to find Dazai had stacked chairs trying to reach him.

Dazai and Ranpo: The Two Geniuses of the ADA

The thought about making a post about Dazai and Ranpo's teamwork has been plaguing my mind for a while now, and so I finally found some time and decided to go through with it.

So let's talk about one of my favourite underrated duos for a moment. The two geniuses of the ADA- Dazai and Ranpo. Two people who make a wonderful team and are actually, in my opinion, the backbone of the agency.

What I find interesting is that (though I believe that Dazai respects and admires all members of the ADA) Dazai openly admires Ranpo A LOT. He's always quick to praise Ranpo (basically fanboying over him and it's quite adorable to see Dazai gush over someone like that other than Oda) and in 'Dazai's Entrance Exam' we see him being surprised over the fact that Ranpo's ability is not actually an ability and we see him further praise Ranpo's intellect after finding that out.

Despite the fact that Dazai is a huge mystery, even to the people around him, Ranpo figured out that there was something up with Dazai in just a single glance (in 'Dazai's entrance exam'). And despite knowing that Dazai was probably hiding a sinister past, he didn't press him any further for details (probably in order to respect his privacy or his wish to not disclose his past OR maybe due to the the fact that knowing Dazai, he most likely wouldn't answer truthfully even if questioned about it)

What I also love is that even though both of them are extremely intelligent, their intellect differs in such a way that Ranpo is a master of deduction and Dazai is a master of manipulation (as stated by Kunikida in 'The Daily Routine of the Detective Agency'). However, one thing both of them share in common is that they both felt isolated due to their nature.

They may have limited interactions but their interactions are always my favourite, for instance-

1. Dazai's entrance exam - Dazai's admiration and respect towards Ranpo

2. Season 1 - Murder on D-Street - Dazai showing a good understanding of Ranpo's deduction process and acknowledging that Ranpo caught onto more details than him

3. Season 2 - "Mountains or sea?" " Sea. "

Showing their unspoken communication. They can read each other's minds at this point lol.

4. Season 3 - Ranpo basically acknowledging that Dazai would be a tough opponent to go up against by comparing Fyodor to him (sort of praising his intellect in a way)

5. Season 5 - The Strongest Man in the Agency- Ranpo

Dazai keeping an eye on Fyodor while leaving the rest to Ranpo

Dazai relying on his allies- trusting Ranpo to negotiate with Bram in order to undo the vampire curse.

6. Dead Apple - Ranpo seeing through Dazai's plan beforehand.

7. 55 minutes - Seeing through upcoming events beforehand, one thing Dazai made sure was to inform Ranpo about the whole fiasco on Standard Island in order to save the Agency in the end.

Also, sidenote: I found out that the Dazai and Ranpo duo is named Souheki, which translates to double jade. Now, I'm not sure if this information is fanon or canon (feels more like fanon tbh but I really like it because it's a pretty name)

Anyway, one thing we can say for sure is that as long as the two geniuses of the Agency- Souheki work together, the ADA will most likely remain undefeated cause no one really does it like them

Lastly, just some food for thought. I've always wondered how Dazai would react if he found out that Ranpo met Oda TWICE and the second time he met him was right before Oda went on to his certain death.

Honestly, I would LOVE to see more fleshed out and direct interactions between these two.

Dazai and Ranpo are seriously underrated.

Ranpo may joke that the agency wouldn’t be a detective agency without him, but the same can be said for Dazai. Without his intelligence, wit, and ability to manipulate situations, the agency wouldn’t function the same way.

While Ranpo is brilliant at deduction, Dazai is often the catalyst that sets everything in motion.

Their partnership is a balance of intellect and chaos, with each relying on the other’s unique strengths. Both are essential, and the agency wouldn’t be what it is without them.

Mapping Neurodivergence in BSD: A Headcanon Exploration

💭✨ Neurodivergence has always been one of my biggest special interests, and something I love about fiction is how much space it gives for different interpretations.

Bungou Stray Dogs is accidentally one of the most neurodivergent-coded series I’ve ever seen—whether it’s intentional or not, so many of the characters just feel ND in ways that go beyond typical genius or eccentricity tropes.

Whether it’s Ranpo’s hyperfixation on mysteries, Kunikida’s compulsive need for structure, or Chuuya’s impulsive emotional outbursts, these characters reflect real-world neurodivergent traits in ways that are compelling, complex, and painfully relatable.

This list is a collection of personal headcanons based on their behaviors, interactions, and underlying motivations.

I'll be doing deep dives into each character here, analysing their traits in more detail! (Of course, this is all just for fun! Everyone interprets characters differently, and that’s part of the beauty of fandom. 🖤)
