Okay, this is so fucking clever.

In Mad Max, there’s a couple bits where they’re chanting “V8″ and they kind of pray to him(?) in the scene above. 

That salute that they do? When they lace their fingers together over their heads, like they’re doing above? They’re mimicking the positions of the 8 pistons in a V8 engine. (the lower image is of a V8 engine block, so you can picture what I mean. The pistons go in those round holes)
