I am not sure what this means
So you know how big bang is like matching up artists with writers and vice versa??? I kinda wanted to do something like that for Uhuramonth.
Or maybe even a bingo card? Like where the organizers put 16 to 25 topics/ prompts on a card and you try to create works around those prompts to get a bingo!
Oh, that's interesting. I've never heard of it and my brain would've never guessed that was what it meant. 😅
Both sound cool. (But I haven't even created nothing in years, so I'm just being nosey). 😭

Fellow canon anarchist here.... hmm, Thinking about how Roddenberry lowkey canonized Spirk AND confirmed Jim's pansexuality all the way back in 1979 (TMP Novel)... and how Spock is bi by default if you read ALL of the goddamn subtext... and that there's 6 hands to share. Uhura haters have no excuse, Roddenberry's canon says if it works, the ship shall sail.
(Also thinking about the lovely chemistry a K/S/U ship would have... perfect blend of STEM and humanities nerds... cheesy 60s romance flirting... two cats and a dopey German Shepherd...)
Honestly I love kirk/uhura/spock and my biggest problem is that I can't stand the way some ppl only ship it if it's spirk heavy. I know this is a controversial opinion but I really love how in snw uhura wins over spock gradually it's the classic coworkers to friends to lovers slow burn! (My only objection to aos spuhura was that spock was her professor but I still love them sm).
We're doing @uhuramonth every year btw! Actually it's a really good thing you dropped by because I've got to start making new graphics for uhuramonth Jan 2026!!!

Uhuramonth Day 26: Free Day (Six Sentence Sunday)

The nausea had gone on for about three days now going on four. Nyota looked around their shared quarters at the various ginger sodas and crackers that spock had brought her in the last few days before he went on the away mission. She had to admit that this was too long to be food poisoning.
I need to be sure I'm pregnant before I tell him, she thought. So Nyota made a checklist, first replicate a pregnancy test, next take the pregnancy test to McCoy. Then do research on everything about Human /vulcan biology and find out what she was in for.

author's note: I had so much I was working on for @uhuramonth!!! but this is the first thing I've actually worked on in over a month lol. Fingers crossed I get this little fic a first chapter to post in time for the Uhura as a Mom prompt on day 29 of Uhuramonth!
