Oh stxrdust, how are you enjoying the first few days of spring? Well my wonderful internet friends, let me tell you. IM NOT. I was waxing poetic about the once a year rain we get 2 days ago and since then it hasn’t. Stopped. Snowing. And it’s only -5C so it’s Warm. Heavy. Incessant. I’m going to drown in snow. I’ve been a scraping 4inches of the stuff off my entire car twice a day for two days now. I’m tired. There’s like a foot and a half of snow blanketing everything. My boots are constantly wet. I genuinely considered calling in just so I didn’t have to drive into the city. Send help. I’ll probably be stuck in a pile of slush by the time it gets here.

Listen, there’s just something about the soft rain at night that makes me feel so… peaceful??? Like the steady drizzle, the dark skies, the streetlights reflecting off the pavement. Upon further examination, the most unrealistic part about the X-Files is actually not the amount of times Scully is in the hospital, but actually how Scully consistently has a gown that fits her in every hospital setting.

In my experience at my hospital (as a nurse, not a patient), most every little old lady practically drowns in our one-size-fits-all gowns. If we put poor Scully in all of her 5’2 glory into one, it’d be dragging on the ground around her.

I am now convinced that after reviewing all the evidence (the gowns fitting both Mulder and Scully quite well) that they do in fact have Dr Scully in pediatric gowns (lmao).
