Some might say these living fossils kill their victims by sucking out their souls. The Chinese giant salamander is the largest amphibian in the world. These voracious predators use a vacuum-like mechanism to suck up prey. The San Diego Zoo is caring for these critically endangered salamanders behind-the-scenes after they were rescued from wildlife trafficking in Hong Kong.
