i just realised that Alex is probably the most shippable character after Val he really is the secondary 😭
Alex has a shippable dynamic with the most love interests: Liam, Opal, Ethan (the bonds between bros, we wouldn't understand this one), Zacharie, and Val obv. Clover canonically is into him from the beginning. and we could probably figure something out with Chandra they were friends lol.
If we consider the fact that Amber is still a route regardless of it being platonic then we have to include Amber as well since she's his partner before Val. and with fucked up friendships (?) in mind we can also include Diana (keeping the Cat out of Catholicism lest she stan the crusades) and Sophie (but watch out!)

Rlly cute lore about Alex's dad that makes him a lil... not rlly sympathetic I guess just interesting to me, maybe sympathetic to other ppl tho. I can't say it but I think it does make his behaviors really interesting.
Just that he's a lonely person I think.. i said before a lot of abusers arent mustache twirlers who plot all their evil or anything. he does love his family. He's just an awful person lol.
I don't think it serves Alex at all to have his dad be someone who hates him tbh. Alex is a good person who cares deeply about his family. His dad loves him but doesn't know how to love him and Alex is afraid of being like his dad. It just makes more sense that Alex's fears are because on some level he understands that his parents thought it was okay, and that he could accidentally do terrible tings too.
Mwdh is rated M for mature so im trusting that ppl reading it have the fortitude to be able to understand nuance so if ppl act Stupid remind them it's not a game for children lol
