Whatever decision you take my mom would say take the one that looks less troublesome or difficult even though both options might seems bad, usually, one is less bad or has better benefits.
iiiiii am only seeing this now but....... your mum is brilliant n totally right, i should choose the better one but a) I'm a dumbass acting upon my feelings n b) I'm a dumbass who will do anything to not get hurt atm so I'm not really doing anything positive for myself rn BUT I'll keep these wise words in mind n hopefully do the right thing for myself once the time comes
