Explore California on Instagram: "This is one of the most unique and fun family friendly activities to do in California! The Sunburst Railbike is available in THREE locations throughout the state: Ventura County Mendocino County Sacramento County The Ventura experience is a fun 2 hour trip through the countryside along a historic railroad line built in 1887. This was the first rail line connecting San Francisco and Los Angeles. You’ll start at an iconic train depot in the town of Santa Paula. From there, you’ll take a relaxing spin on 2 person electric railbike through orchards, have a picnic, and stop by a local farm stand. It’s a fun experience for the whole family! 🛤️ Sunburst Railbikes 🗺️ 200 N 10th St, Santa Paula (the one featured here). 1 hr North of LA. 🚂 #califo

Matt and Karen Smith on Instagram: "Some of the most beautiful coastal views in the lower 48 can be found on its most northwesterly tip at Cape Flattery in Washington state, located on the Makah Indian reservation. The Cape Flattery trail is 0.75 miles, and takes you through a forest to four different observation decks where you’ll have spectacular views of the rugged rocks, birds, and jade waters of the Pacific Ocean. If you’re lucky you might even spot sea lions and whales. It’s a great add-on to a visit to Olympic National Park, if you have the time. But only head up there if it’s a clear day- fog and clouds can obscure the views. A $20 (per car) Makah Indian recreation permit is required and can be purchased at the marina or museum in the town of Neah Bay. Leashed dogs are allowed

Malia Miglino │History & Travel │L.A. on Instagram: "Victor Heights - one of the last remaining Italian enclaves in Los Angeles and now home to a secret foodie haven. Chances are you’ve heard of the @eastsideitaliandeli, but did you know that just across the street sits a collection of 1920s bungalows and old apartment buildings that have both food, coffee AND tattoos? Alpine St. has a long history of food offerings but for many years, Eastside Deli has stood alone…until now. @heavywatercoffee, @bakers.bench, @cassellshamburgers, @_perilla.la and @estatetattoo are now a part of the legacy of this neighborhood that is often mistakingly referred to as part of Chinatown. From a Victorian “Water King” to a sanctuary for Italian immigrants, Victor Heights is as unique as the city in which
