This is an old forgotten recipe book. That's what's called Forgotten Recipes. Well it's how this salmon's looking. I think there's a good reason why it was forgotten. Well maybe not Tyler. This is a salmon loaf. Kinda like if you were making a salmon fried salmon patties. Mhm. You're just going to mix up your salmon with two eggs. Is this what it looks like when you put it into the salmon patties? Yes yes. Oh I like salmon patties but this just does not we're just trying to keep from frying where it doesn't so bad on you. No frying foods all the time is not the best for you so we're trying to do a little different here. Have you ever tried raw salmon? No no not me. Me and Charles love it. Yeah no not me. Okay now you got your salmon all mixed up with your eggs. You're going to add in your reserved liquid which is a half a cup and a cup of milk. So we're going to put our salmon juice. Our cup of milk. Two tablespoons of lemon juice, three cups of crushed salting crackers. We're going to combine this all. It look like a lot of liquid until you stick them crackers in there. The salmon loaf, do you eat anything with it? Or is it just like a meal of its own? Do you like dip chips in it or something? No, it'll probably be like you would fix your potato to go with it or some some kind of mixed vegetables, whatever you would like to go with your salmon. Okay now we've got it mixed up. We want to get a little salt. Not a whole lot because you use salty crackers. Little salt. Then we got some black pepper. I might put a little more black pepper in it than and you're just going to take a greased baking dish Put it in our grease baking dish and bake it at 350 it said for look at their recipe for me hm I think an hour might be 45 minutes baked at 40 to 50 minutes okay so we'll put 45 on there I'm just kind of patting it down here like a salmon loaf. We'll see how it turns out. 45 minutes.
