The developmental and psychosocial goals are to help children reach a developmental maturity in regards to bereavement/ loss of a family member or friend. Games and activities such as memory box are effective in assisting with psychological functioning and reduction of the feeling of helplessness with heavy emotions. Aiding them in sorting out their feelings and understanding things at their level of ability to understand the info.
