Inexpensive Bathroom Makeover

So if you are on a budget, and have to wait for the big bathroom remodel, you are not alone. I bought an older home, it was love at first sight! There is no such thing as impossible to me, I look at an ugly space and get excited knowing that I can make it lovely.... and with a small budget! My main bathroom was PINK tile, top to bottom. Yep, even the ceiling. The sink and tub were sea mist green. Perhaps that look is making a comeback, but I wasn't ready for it. Check out my before and after photos below..... So my first priority was priming the walls and ceiling with a bond that works for moisture prone areas. After priming, I painted it all... white. Next I had the floors retiled with ceramic tile that resembles wood. ((that I paid for)). I replaced the sink and hardware, and switched out the pulls on all drawers. Next was changing the mirror and light fixture. The countertop is white tile that was quite dingy, no cleaning supply or elbow grease was helping, so I decided to spray paint it with textured sand color spray paint and sealed it. Last was the decor, wall hangings, throw rug/ runner and new shower curtain. I still need to replace the blinds and am having my shower and walls painted soon. This is one of my little projects, still in progress, but I thought I would share so that others can see that it is possible to do a temporary upgrade on a budget...until you are ready for the full blown remodel.
