Dolls miniature

We have talked about making miniatures from trash to treasure projects before, but it got a bit to long. So today we are starting part 2.

Dolls are a beloved toy out there and most kids love to play with them, although sometimes, people take their fondness for dolls into adulthood and never grow out of them. It is quite trendy today to recreate dolls and repaint their faces to make them look more detailed and realistic, and that is exactly what Spanish artist José Francisco Cerezo Roldan does.

Some time ago I had to get rid of some resin before it got bad, so I made some new masters for soles and heels. The soles were wedges, because those are much easier to handle when using latex molds. The master on the left is for Monster High Gooliope Jellington and the right one for 16" Miss Piggy. Here are some of the soles I made after making the molds. How I make shoes for my 1/6 scale dolls. -1 White glue, white teflon/plumbers tape , saran wrap. -2 cover the doll's feet with saran wrap. -3 wrap them with teflon tape -4 start adding glue layers ( i usually need 4 or 5) -5 I usually pour the glue directly from the bottle, don't try to make the layers too thick or the glue will drip down.
