Dr. Andrew Lock on Instagram: "90 SECONDS TO STRONGER RHOMBOIDS.  Here is a great 3 part series to target the rhomboids and strengthen the scapula retraction pattern.  By doing this work face down you are working against gravity when lifting the elbows and arms, that in itself is a significant load for some people.  The cue in the first exercise is to “lift the elbows”, by doing this you get the most superb scapula retraction motion.  For many common shoulder problems, that have scapula retraction weakness components this series can make a wonderful impact when performed prior to other exercises, or simply done by itself 2x day.  This is an amazing activation experience before starting the programmed load work in the gym.
