Elizabeth Marundé // Holistic Herbalism on Instagram: "A few people have asked me about dry scalp during the winter months. My answer is a resounding rosemary. When asked about popular shampoo brands that supposedly offer support with dandruff, my answer is a resounding no.

Rosemary is best known for its antiseptic properties on the scalp. Its absorption can also aid in muscle relief.

What you’ll need:
• 15-20 fresh rosemary sprigs
• water to boil

What you’ll do:
• Cut the sprigs into smaller pieces (to fit lengthwise in a pot), wash the sprigs, then cover with water and bring to a boil.
• Once the water is bubbling, cover and let simmer for about an hour.
• After an hour, strain and store for use.
