Day 1: Fresno to Washington

We will be visiting the African American Museam in honor of Black History Month. Students will be taking a tour guide and learn about Black history in the US. They will also use this link to visit the frequently asked portion of the musuem’s website.
We will be eating at this resturant for lunch and dinner. It is near the african american museum. Great dinning area and has vegan options for students who are vegan. Is also cheap and affordable.

Day 2: Trip to African American Museum

We will be eating at the Lincoln Waffle shop for breakfast. Great and local place for students to visit. It is also cheap and affordable for the students.
We will be taking another Black history tour. To learn about the local Black history of Washington. Students will be expected to take notes as well. We will stopping by the MLK memorial.
We will be starting at the US memorial plaza for our tour. We will be taking another tour that will teach us about Black history. On this tour we will be on a bus and the tour guide will take us on a tour around DC to teach us about local Black history. This will send you to the navy memorial website.

Day 3: Touring Washington D.C.

We will be landing at Fresno airport. Here students will be able to navigate the airport. Telling them where to go and how to leave the port. They can download the photo onto their phone. Or, print a picture of it before they leave so they have a physical copy as well.
