Michael Kors(born Karl Anderson,Jr.August 9 1959)is a N.Y. sportswear fashion designer.He is honorary chairman & chief creative officer for his company,M.Kors H/Ltd(NYSE: KORS)which sells women's & men's RTW accessories, jewelry,footwear & fragrance.Kors,the first women’s RTW designer for the French house Celine,from 1997-2003.He grew up in Merrick,N.Y,graduated from John F. Kennedy High School Bellmore,N.Y. Kors' mother Jewish & father Swedish.He married his,Lance Le Pere 2011 in Southampton.
